Beane has to go into the offseason knowing he needs to add significantly to the WR room. I’m not locking Coleman into a starting role. I have Shakir as the only lock. I need to add multiple WRs if I’m Beane. Basically the same position as last offseason.

My only problem with hiring young up and coming OCs is they will immediately become the hottest head coaching candidate because you know Josh will run a top 5 offense. Go get an older guy, former head coach that isn’t likely to get another opportunity. Sean McDermott tried to hire Mike McCoy as OC in the past. I know he’s struggled recently but he’ll do great with an MVP QB.

It’s not really similar. Probably more like Patriots in 2021. Top 3 defense with a promising young QB and a Super Bowl winning head coach. It’s hard to compare different years though. It’s the playoffs, it’s going to be a tough game.
