I had a different experience, John. I had a few poly sci teachers who required you to view the world through their viewpoint, and anything less and you were given poor marks. There was zero room for duscussion. And like Fergie loves to remind us, we went to an "ELITE" university.

The bill as presented doesn't do anything to stop people from entering illegally, does it? As far as I can tell it increases the number of legal immigrants by 13%, but seems to only speed up the process for illegals one way or the other. What do you do for a living, John?

I am very much in favor of increasing legal immigration into this country by triple it's current rate. I am also in favor of securing our borders. Why can't we have both?
