  1. I'm thinking of surprising my kids with a trip up to the game from just outside of NYC, what's the tailgating scene like for preseason games? Was hoping to do a little BBQ, maybe some parking lot football with the kiddies....
  2. If only their floor mat policy were more comprehensive.
  3. You can't draft QBs every year. Instead of Sammy Watkins, we would have had Garrett Grayson and Johnny football. Instead of EJ we'd have EJ, or even better, Geno. Your hindsight General Managing would be easier to tolerate if you weren't so miserable to your fellow fans.
  4. I am not worried about the run D at all. Pass D? We will get beaten with slants and dumps. I am WAY more worried that TT slumps once Ds figure out how to clog his passing lanes. His is one of those weird situations where a player may do worse in a contract year, mostly because he is trying to prove he is not a running QB.
  5. After reading the title I thought Pegula Sports Entertainment was opening up a dog fighting league.
  6. While I hope he wins the gold, I dont know that a guy as fragile and skinny as he is should be cutting body fat and playing NFL football. Smart for the Bills that they addressed the speedy need WR with Listenbee, who is actually bulking up be NFL level durable.
  7. For me I worry about his ability to come up big in big moments. He has laid a few eggs out there with the game on the line.

  9. Have you ever considered following soccer instead of football?
  10. How does any of that have to do with luck? Ryan fielded a better product than the Pats in 2009 and 2010. After that , not so much. Implying that he won't ever replicate his 2009 to 2010 record vs the Pats is simply your opinion, not any fact, not a proven fact.
  11. Some of you guys need to read the whole thread before flying off the handle.
  12. What bothers me most is the expectation of an apology. Good forbid these delta bravos dont get their pound of flesh, suddenly they are moralistic champions of rhe rabble. Won't somebody please think of the children!!!
  13. Maybe try changing your delivery? Seems like you have a lot of points you want to make, but they are often hard to read through the bile.
  14. He said twice that the Saints should have fired him, no? He tried to run a defense based on Byrd that he couldn't get to work, and he admitted as much, no?
  15. While I dont particularly care for his over the top rah rah positivity, I share some of BillsVet's concerns with our WR corps. I figure we are about average based on our top 6 right now. But I think Woods belongs in the slot, and I would like to see the team bring in a legitimate threat opposite Sammy that teams need to account for. I think that would push our middle of the pack group much closer to the top. Boldin would be perfect in that role, imo. Even though he may not have a ton left in the tank, he is the kind of clutch receier that DCs and DBs will expend effort on, even if only due to reputation at this point in his career. And whenever they are thinking about Boldin they aren't thinking about Sammy, Shady, Clay or Woods. I am more of a Craig guy.
  16. I probably shouldn't be paying so much attention to the OTAs, so maybe this is a good thing. Wonder if my golf game got any better over the winter....
  17. Perfectly valid opinion about the value of a football czar, but our friends in Arizona and Seattle don't have to get past a QB close to Brady's talent to win the division. Until something drastically changes with the QB situation in NE and/or Buff, we're going to struggle getting past the Pats, even if we bring the ghost of Vince Lombardi to run football ops. If we find our own Brady (or Newton, or Rogers), it's a different story, and your football czar may help in that. Then again, he may not.
  18. Agreed. But it usually feels like we're bringing a paring knife to a sword fight when we play the Pats. With TT, it's more like a large dagger, but still....
  19. You say potato, I say potato. Of course we need to build a great team. But my point is that unless we draft a magic bullet of a QB, or Brady retires or his level of play drops off severely, we're going to have a hard time getting past the Pats, who happen to have one of the best QBs to ever play the game.
