  1. Tampa Bay. Started following them when they drafted a couple of FSU guys in Dunn and Brooks. Been following them ever since, and living in Tallahassee makes that easier as there's always Buccs news locally.
  2. If they voted Rob off, that tribe would have not won a single challenge. That tribe is so disjointed and Rob's the only thing holding everything together. It is funny how the girls follow him around like a high school clique following the star QB.
  3. That doesn't pass the smell test dave. Why would Ralph randomly attend a Jags-Ravens game when the Bill sopened their own season not 3 hours earlier?
  4. I've been watching and still insist that Watson cheats, especially on the buzzer. He can ring in before any of the humans even have a chance to, especially when he's sure of the answer. I've been playing video games since i was 5, and if there's one consistency across all platforms, the CPU always cheats. It's still true today. It was true in the jeopardy game. In a true fair jeopardy match, they'd kick his ass. I'm also not buying the "Toronto" argument. I don't care that eh missed the question, the fact remains that the category was US cities, and he didn't even give a US city as a response. Throughout all of this my girlfriend keeps telling me i sound liek Will Smith from I, Robot.
  5. Look back over the years, and there are typically a handful or more older vets that get released in February because their teams aren't going to keep them and they don't fit in with future plans. It gives the vets a chance to latch on with a new team before free agency. Try to keep up next time. There's no point to taking someone you aren't going to keep to training camp, where they'll do nothing but take reps away from the players that WILL be playing for your team next season.
  6. I love it how the 2 idiot broads (Faketits McGee and Francesca) felt like they were stuck in an alliance with Phil the moron. Last time i checked, they could have easily turned on him and tried to assimilate with the rest of the tribe. Not to mention they played their hand way too early. They were in a lose-lose situation. Vote off Natalie and you've gotta deal with a pissed off Rob who still has an alliance of 5 vs your 3. Vote off Rob and that tribe would have lost every challenge from here on out. Maybe its just me, but the past few seasons have been filled with idiots, and people who think they are much smarter than they really are (case in point: Brenda from last season). Russell will be in the finals again this year.
  7. agreed. If you know you're going to cut a vet, the proper thing to do is to cut him sooner and let him latch on with another team. This is especially the case with the lockout coming up.
  8. We're actually in agreement here. (I wasn't specifically referring to Jordan when i made the above point of players appearing to "jump" in the eys of draftniks) If the Bills think jordan is going to be a good one, then they should take him at #3. If a guy is good enough to be drafted at #10 or 11, he's good enough to be drafted at #3. What an awesome, high quality, in depth analysis of Jordan.
  9. Why? He's arguably the best 3-4 DE in the country at the collegiate level. We need help along the DL. Why is that a disgusting pick? (And don't even bring back the tired old, "he'd be a reach at 3, we should only take him at 10" line)
  10. THANK YOU!!!!!!! Bill Polian was on the radio down here a few years ago and said this exact thing. He said that the combine and what not may move a player a few slots, but thats it. NFL draft boards are close to set long before the combine. The only people who think a combine vaults a player from the 3rd round to the 1st are the moron draftniks with no sources (todd mcshay) and the guys posting from mom's basement (walter football).
  11. thanks guys. I'm not one to beat the "Ralph is cheap" drum, i just found it odd back in 2002 that when Field Turf seemed to be the industry standard and was installed in lots of stadiums, the Bills chose to go with the knockoff "Field Turph" to put in the stadium. So it was erie county being stupid?
  12. Same here at 5'9". I've topped out at 170 and my current weight is somewhere between 160-165. I feel bad for him when i look in the mirror and realize i am the same size as roscoe parrish.
  13. Maybe because they decided to get real Field Turf instead of the cheap knock-off they got a while back?
  14. If the point is to use a high pick on someone who can get to the QB as a pass rusher, why doesn it matter if that guy is a DE or 3-4 OLB? If the guy is getting you a bunch of sacks per season, who cares that he's a LB?
  15. How many backup QBs throw 23 TDs in a season?
  16. I call BS. "Gorgeous girls" and "from Orchard Park" are mutually exclusive.
  17. It's worse than that he's dead jim, dead jim, dead jim, it's worse than that he's dead jim, dead jim, dead.
  18. Someone please explain to me why Cam Newton isn't inaccurate, he's just "inconsistent"? If you are not consistent with your accuracy, that makes you inaccurate. If he goes #1 overall, that would be the best news the Bills could hope for, becasue then Fairley or Bowers would fall to us at #3.
  19. Don't underestimate the stubborness and hard headedness of Mike Brown. He'd rather let Palmer sit and rot in retirement than trade him, even if a trade would be beneficial for his team.
  20. So it's a QB who rapes gay men?
  21. I was just reading that Forcier has transferred from Michigan to "The U." I thought the kid looked pretty good back in '09, before giving way to the RB michigan employed under center in '10. If he can beat out Morris in 2012 he'll make the team slightly better, but i don't think the U will be any type of threat. Those days for the school are long gone, and probably not coming back. They are content with being a middle tier ACC program, and have no designs on returning to the glory days of the 80's, early 90's, and early 2000's.
  22. I fail to see how someone would be a fine selection at #5-7, but would be a "reach" at #3. Mind-boggling really.
  23. Bowers recorded sacks in 11 of 13 games this season. So much for "getting sacks in bunches." The guy also goes 280, which is plenty big enough to be a 3-4 DE.
  24. Ralph shelled out big bucks to Dockery and Evans a couple fo years back. There's a lot of things to knock Wilson on, but spending cash on FA's and players isn't one of them.
