Bills are starting to putting a lot of pressure on
Ramius replied to Oneonta Buffalo Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Parrish will be good in the open field when he can make some nasty moves. But he'll be the most dangerous on punt returns this season. Dont be surprised ot see buffalo's 2 returners leading the league in their respective categories. -
thank you. she's by far one of the hottest stars on the planet. anyone else familiar with her work?

Wow, i'm surprised the white house has time to go through all of that, seeing how they have just finally finished their plot of crashing the columbia to renew interest in the space program.

"Pro Football Talk" preseason rankings
Ramius replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Responding to you and dave, from reading his posts, i can tell that badol has quite a bit of knowledge on the game of football, but it would be presented much better w/out the whining. As for the draft, we may have passed on acquiring an extra 2nd, but we didnt give away a 2nd. we gave a 3rd to chicago to move from 42 to 26. we still had 2 picks in the first 2 rounds. if the trade down rumors are true, then yes we passed on gaining a pick in the second. For the o-line, i agree we need to draft and grow some talent,. preferrably 1st day draft talent, not 5th rounders and later. When i first saw the chicago trade come up on draft day, these were my exact words. "I really hope we snag mangold or winston justice, but we're probably going to grab mccargo." Now i know marv didnt spend high picks on the line this year, but heres my take. Butler's Bills didnt properly stock the lines. TD's Bills didnt stock the lines. But i see Marv as separate from those 2. If in the next year or 2 marv isnt selecting linemen, then we can say he didnt stock the lines. but this was marv's 1st draft, and it is a different event than anything in the past. Marv has had 1 draft, and it isnt fair to lump him with the previous GM's. He spent picks on building a defense, and you cant go wrong with that. As for me, i would fix the lines through the draft. If i was a GM, my draft philosophy would include these...always draft at least 1 lineman on day 1, and always draft a project QB in the 6th or 7th round. Every single year. But i also know that sometimes, to keep a good line together, you have to overpay for some of the players, be it a FA, or your own grown talent, and frankly, the bills cant be afraid to hand out 30 or 40 mil to keep some good talent. (if JJ wasnt so injury prone, i would have said he's worth every penny of the 35 mil contract he got) -
Once again, the Sabres make their splash into FA by signing Teppo Numminen...sound familiar?

Why do some believe so much in TN, GB, DET etc.
Ramius replied to Pyrite Gal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
this comment shows you have absoltuely NO knowledge about the Cover 2/Tampa 2 Defense. Tampa's, Indy's, Chicago's "puny" d-lines do NO get run over. -
But if JP had a different haircut, then you wouldnt have thought he sucked as bad, huh? JP didnt play good last year. But it is completely obtuse to say that JP DIDN'T improve over the 2nd part of the season. He did improve and thats what matters. I am not pretending that he was good last season, because he wasnt. but there was improvement. that cant be ignored.

Asteroid passes within 270k miles of Earth
Ramius replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Its also going to pass the earth in 2021 and 2013. Their biggest fear isnt that it will hit us in 2029, but that passing that clsoe to our orbit may alter it's orbit enough to hit us during subsequest passes. Frankly, i hope it hits and theres nothing we can do about it. Then people will enjoy watching the bills during their last season of existence and maybe that will stop all the bitchin that goes on around here. -
Asteroid passes within 270k miles of Earth
Ramius replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
They've known about this one for a long time. Want to really freak yourself out? Tracing the current trajectories of the Earth Orbit and another asteroids orbit, in 2029, there will be an asteroid that will pass roughly 18,000 miles away from Earth. -
bite me i f'in hate level 16 and i am still stuck there! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: level 16.

"Pro Football Talk" preseason rankings
Ramius replied to BillnutinHouston's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
whats with the fellating of badol? some of the things he said ring true, but frankly most of his posts in his thread have been plain and simple whining and complaining. hes from the big crowd of "we didnt draft 10 o-linemen in the draft, so DRAFTBAD!". Sure this team has a lot fo questions this year, from coaching on down to talent. Sure we'll probably only win 7 games this season. But i see too many posters here just whining and complaining we suck, because thats much easier than trying to find some good things about the bills to root for. we have a young team with hungry players who WANT to play. not overpaid vets form the TD era. Sure this team will have its struggles, and will probably make me pull ym hair out on numerous occasions. but they will be fun to watch, and they wont suck as bad as 80% of the posters here think. As for the draft, no one can say that we drafted players we didnt need. We needed an SS, a DT, and a FS for next year when vincet is probably gone. Anyone who thinks the draft sucked because we didnt draft a bunch if rookie linemen has got their head londged so far in their ass that they are viewing the draft from their colon. -
Not really. there are some good long posts that i will read, but most fo them are wordy and long winded and are just repeating the same thing over and over. say what you need to say in a couple of paragraphs and get on with it.

Thanks Jay McKee for all of your outstanding efforts over the past 10 years. you'll definitely be missed here in buffalo. i remember watching him coming up playing for the ontario thunder of the OHL. that being said, the blues overpaid. 4 mil per season for a 3/4 d-man is waay over paying.

I'm here now and got some stuff to take care of this morning. since i hafta work for a couple of hours tomorrow morning, i will probably jet after lunch today.

i still cant get past fuggin 16. i hate level 16.

thats an excellent way to end the week!

Its nto the rating i have a problem with, its the method and their analysis/lack thereof. A prime example: when rating baltimores pass D #4, they said nothing about the 2 pro bowl corners chris mcallister and samari rolle. All espn talked about was ray lewis and ed reed.

His sac deserves props for quick thinking.

if the buffalo thingy was white instead of piss/puke orangellow, then it would only be slightly hideous, nto completely hideous

We got ranked 22nd in run defense. In case you were wondering they used the same formula as their other rankings, which is as followed... Start Where did they rank last season? __ if they signed someone we have heard of, increase ranking. If they did not sign a big name top dollar free agent, decrease ranking. If the team is owned by someone named Bob Kraft, team goes in the top 10. End Note: there is no actual team analysis in ESPN's rankings, just a look-see to see if you have a player that espn likes. it is recommended you take them with a grain of salt and do nto operate heavy machiney while attempting to listen to espn.

The new logo looks like the "royal order of the water buffalo" hats from the flintstones. fuggin tards.

Its because the new wave of hot pocket reporters and analysts consider the past 3 months when making decisions. They dont want to do work and actually research ralph, so they see that he voted against the CBA, and he was one of 2 to do so, so Ralphbad! Just liek the way they analyze the season. sign someone they have heard of, and you get an A+.
