  1. I was going to suggest run him over with his own car would be the best way to take care of the job. I mean getting killed by a gay car would probably be the worst way to go. But then i thought you'd actually hafta DRIVE the car to do it, so its not worth the hit your image will take.
  2. Since you're hell bent on your "points achieved per game" or whatever that crazy ass formula you had to trash JP in your pathetic attempt to make holcomb look good, try this... you claim that JP led the bills to 7 points, but gave up 7 points on an INT return (the int is his fault, but not his fault that our guys cant tackle on the return, so that blows that arguement out of the water). What about holcomb? Not only did he fail to convert a 4th down by not even giving his team a CHANCE to convert it, he also gave up 7 points to the patriots by fumbling the ball away on our own 20 with 5 minutes to go. Those 7 points by the way, happend to give the patriots the victory. In summation: JP has a worse statistical game in which the team got their ass kicked. Take away his INT, and we lose 28-7 instead of 35-7. Holcomb on the other hand, fumbled away a lead late in the 4th quarter, then choked when he made like a pop-warner QB and threw the ball 1 yard on 4th and 7. Take away his fumble, and the Bills are leading 16-14 with the ball and 5 mins left to kill for the win. a bit of a difference. And i'll repeat an above poster. How come sh------- play calling is an ok excuse for holcomb sucking, but not for JP?
  3. So a more appropriate name would be "Anyone but JP's Arm" Got it.
  4. What did JP Losman do to Holcombs arm to make him hate him so much that he refuses to even acknowledge his existence? And why is the arm all over Nall's jock?
  5. who cares? 12 bridesmaids definitely increases YOUR chances. And it makes it easier to land more than one without the others knowing.
  6. No i wasnt saying the QB's played equal. but in the end a loss is a loss, no matter if the QB threw 50 yards and 6 picks, or if he threw 500 yrads and 6 TD's. And enlighten me how Nall being "up to the task" of holding the clipboard as 3rd stringer is going to help the bills win this year?
  7. I have a question about the US for you soccer buffs. To me, between watching some other games, and watching the US, i seemed to notice that the US has a lot of trouble moving the ball in traffic. bad passes, long passes, intercepted/blocked passes. other betters dont have this problem, or it isnt as evident. am i correct, and if so how does a country go about fixing that? acquire better talent?
  8. Are we allowed to ask questions about Crayonz or start threads about him, or will people in dark sunglasses in a dark sedan come by and "take me for a ride"?
  9. And belichick does fear facing holcomb again? on any 3rd or 4th and anything over 5 yards play, belichick knows to sit his defense at the first down marker, because holcomb wont throw it past the LOS. Frankly, both patsy games ended in a loss, so stats really dont matter. And holcomb tossing a 1 yard out on 4th and 7 is a mistake a rookie should make, not a 9 year vet. Plain and simple, holcomb choked in the clutch. I love KH as the Bills backup, but as nothing more than that.
  10. I never hated kelly holcomb until October 3, 2005.
  11. great quote by my girl today watching the game (she also watched most fo the italy game) "Does the USA play dirty? Because everytime i see 2 players run into each other, the other team always falls down and gets hurt, but the US never does" And that my friends, along with match fixing, is why soccer will never catch on fully in the US. A bunch of pussies running around on the field. until they play like men, i refuse to respect the majority of the soccer world.
  12. Hate to break it to you, but this is the season we will be seeing what JP has, not what Nall has. I know you like to deny JP's very existence, but you'll have a tough time doing so when hes starting come week 1.
  13. Remember Moormans first season here? He wasnt terribly good, because he had punted in NFL Europe, then all through training camp, and by the end of the season, he even said his leg was worn out. The next season, he didnt punt all that much and voila, we have a pro bowl punter. This signing is so moorman doesnt get over worked.
  14. Mort must be on vacation...otherwise we'd be ranked 33rd, behind the 31 other teams and tom donahoe
  15. I'll second Puhonix on Poor Pauls, Tallahassee FL - total dive bar, with the exact amosphere you are looking for when going out for a night of beer drinking. plus, every beer/pitcher you buy, call your color and spin the wheel. if you call it right (1 in 5 chance) you get your next beer/pitcher free. (i hit that 3 times one night when buying pitchers...we were in rough shape after that one) Eben's Hearth, Potsdam, NY - bar/restaurant type deal, but oh the memories there from my Clarkson days. Fridays a bunch of us would sit at ebens for hours, downing $3.50 40oz Molsons or Killians
  16. Fans have been instructed o how to defend themselves in case of an attack. They are instructed to make fun of mike williams as it will result in him crying and missing a week of training camp.
  17. I think whitnet needs to play at a high level, and stabilize the SS position for the Bills for the long term. If Whitner plays well enough where we dont have to worry about the SS position for many years, then i think its a successful pick. Ideally i'd liek to see him develop into a polamalu/roy williams type player and be a game changer, and i dont think thats an unreasonable expectation for a top 10 pick. I agree with pro-bowl quality play, but not necessarily a pro-bowl selection. Frankly, if he doesnt make the pro bowl only because he got beat out by reed and polamalu, thats fine by me. Finally, i think we are seeing a shift in defensive strategy on the part of NFL teams. Traditionally, safties are not drafted very high, but recently, more have been. I think coaches are starting to value what a difference a true playmaker at safety can be, and subsequently, teams are spending higher picks on them. Recently, Sean Taylor, Roy Williams, have gone top 10, and polamalu and reed are mid 1st round picks. I think its tough to bash the whitner selection too much, because 3 safeties were drafted in the top 15 picks this year.
  18. more draft pick trouble in cincy...they sure do know how to draft them. Are they attempting to become miami north? Frostee Rucker
  19. sounds like the game is a challenge, and sounds like you like it. I am strongly considering getting 07, because its been a while since i had a good NHL game (nhl 03)
  20. I'd like to be up there on the ledge with him, just so i could enjoy shoving him off. Someone tell the 4-12 Rams of 1998 and the 5-11 patsies of 2000 that it takes 3 years to rebuild please.
  21. if the light <finally> goes off at OBD and they realize that a team needs a good line, and that they must be willing to shell out some bucks for it, then yes. but thats a big IF.
  22. it will, and the game is available as a downloadable file from EA's website or somewhere. Not sure if the PC version will be released on CD.
  23. You can onyl coach the game. As for me, i thought this game would be awesome, because i love doing franchise mode in madden. Heres a few comments about the tedium... you have a schedule for all your coaching duties. but to sign FA's or trade players, etc, you have schedule that in. so you hafta remove 1 event, then schedule in a free agent signing. also, i believe its only 1 player transaction per designated time period, so you hafta keep scheduling those events until you are happy with respect to roster organization, i think its terrible. they arent organized madden style. you go to your roster, and select a position or team, say QB's. It will bring up 3 player icons with their player number. they you need to select a player to see their attributes. they you have to exit out 3 or 4 menus to start again to see another player or team. and finally, with play calling, plays arent organized by formation, they are organized by distance and down (1st down, 2nd and short, 3rd and short/med/long, etc), which makes it a lot tougher to find a specific type of play, say a 3 WR set running play It sounds like i am trashing the game, but i am not trying to. I just feel from playing the demo that the game will get very tedious after a little while, and that it isnt streamlined well at all. They make you do too many separate actions to do something simple like a trade or a free agent signing. I still am going to rent the game and see how i like the full version.
  24. Next time i am back home in buffalo, i may have some burning to do. My uncle lives in raleigh, and not long after the whalers moved down there, he sent me a hurricanes jacket, knowing how much i like hockey. The jacket has served well in many outdoor hockey games, as a great ski jacket and a good overall winter coat. But now thinking of it hanging up in the basement of ym parents place makes me a bit nauseous. Not as much as whiny B word laviolette holding the cup, tho. So i may have to burn that jacket after this post season and what the whinercanes did. Congrats to the 4 real hurricanes fans in raleigh, and !@#$ the whole lot of people who became caniacs as of may 1 2006.
