  1. Gradkowski isn't even on Tampa anymore. I believe he's a third stringer on St Louis. And while i agree with you on the need to draft more OL, money isnt the issue because both Joseph and Trueblood will need big contracts in the next year or 2. But overall i see your point about the Buccs draft. Tampa's good drafting of OL and defense is what keeps them competitive most years. However, their glaring lack of attention to the offensive skill positions is what has been preventing them from returning to elite form. And going off what Rich said, drafting those player wouldn't have solved our (or Tampa's) OL woes at center. Just this past spring, Tampa had to spend $40 mil for Jeff Faine to upgrade the center spot.
  2. Yup. The only "throwbacks" with names you can get here at FSU are Deion, Charlie Ward, and Derrick Brooks. Not easy to find tho.
  3. There's a need to get a better starter than Ellison on the field, but there's no need to cut him or get rid of him. Ellison is a solid backup LB/coverage LB. And for a 6th round pick, i'll take that in any draft.
  4. If this thread is an example of what you would bring to the boards, we're not missing much.
  5. For arguements sake: http://www.kffl.com/article/47708/160 http://nfldraft.rivals.com/cviewplayer.asp...r=7351#scouting There were some concerns about his work ethic and motivation.
  6. He plays DE for baltimore. I know he's listed as a "DT" but he plays DE. And his being a "stud DT" has a lot to do with the surrounding talent.
  7. Saban is a lying dirty scumbag. You say the money aspect would get in the way, as Saban is making what, 5 mil per season? If Auburn tossed 7 mil per season at him, he'd be gone in a heartbeat. Thats not a knock against alabama, thats just the way a low life loser like Saban works. You guys would be alright though with Kevin Steele on staff. As for Auburn, to get fisher, they'd have to buyout Tuberville for 6 mil, buyout Fisher for 2.5 mil, and the probably pay fisher 3-4 mil per season on top of that. That seems like a steep price for any university to pay. The return glory is going slowly, but we're making progess. Of course, we'll probably lay an egg on thursday night, but aside form the wake game, the team has looked well and is showing a lot of good. We still have a legit shot at 8-4 this season.
  8. In all fairness, i'd say that Ngata has had just a slightly better surrounding cast on baltimore's defense than he would have had here in buffalo. That may have something to do with why he's been playing so well.
  9. You hit the nail on the head about every single one of Dawgg's posts. He'd rather have all of Marv's draft picks bust out and the Bills suck just so he can brag that he "was right" about Marv being senile and an idiot.
  10. Yeah thats what my girl got at her new job. Specified vacation time and then "personal time." No "sick" days.
  11. Good point. Thats a lot more dangerous that kicking the illegals out. You know, that whole "freedom of religion" thingy thats on that parchment we sometimes choose to follow. I'm actually a bit surprised. Most companies wont even think of !@#$ing with anything religious. I can make up my own religion, claim that i need next thursday off for the "feast of the holy trent day," and most places would give you the day off without batting an eye.
  12. I'm just wondering how and why some of the people moved FROM Pulau to Iowa.
  13. Nope. Nfl.com is reporting the 1st, 3rd, and 6th. And Tony G can go fugg himself for not wanting to come to buffalo. I hope donte knocks his ass out when we go out there later this season.
  14. I don't get it either. Illegals get shipped out - good thing Void created because plant needs new workers - bad thing for plant Plant hires new, LEGAL, workers to work - good thing And the town is pissed off because the illegals got shipped out?
  15. I'm not referring to everyone, as someone who drops a couple bucks on the lottery for some entertainment is fine. I'm more referring to the people you see lined up at the register dropping $5-10 and having the computer pick their numbers everyday.
  16. Nah its more fun to watch you writhe and gnash your teeth and try and tie every little thing to JP Losman, who you have a strange obsession with. However, it IS highly ironic that you, of all people, think that the Hamdan love is about Losman.
  17. The lottery is a very effective "stupidity tax."
  18. I wouldnt put it past either saban or petrino to bolt for auburn. Both are classless pieces of trash and despicable lying scumbag humans. As for fisher, he's got a guarantee that he'll be the next coach at FSU by the end of the 2010 or 2011 (i can't remember which) season in his contract. If that time comes and goes, FSU owes him 2.5 mil i believe. If Fisher bolts before then, he owes FSU the same amount.
  19. You don't have the foggiest.
  20. And then there was one.
  21. Whats TO gonna sit on now?
  22. Perhaps you need to get some air. The dwight drane juice you've been huffing is making you almost as crazy as him.
  23. Texas 75, Missouri 3
  24. Its a sad day when we're arguing against science education. Going off what Johnny said, the Tally planetarium and challenger learning center is packed during the week with school groups from up to a few hours away. $3 million is chump change when it comes to science education for kids. Bitching about $3 mil for a planetarium is being penny wise and pound foolish.
  25. What, you are too lazy to come up with your own scoring system, so you simply copy ESPN's default settings?
