  1. Actually not quite what he said, he said he doesn't know if teams have been shifting over there, that he doesn't really read the D that way he just goes out and plays. Or something more to that extent, the guys on WGR seemed confused that he said that and planned to ask more questions about how he couldn't tell from the coverage but Stevie's phone kept hanging up.
  2. I agree, money doesn't necessarily make a team, think about the money Snyder has thrown around for the Redskins with little success. It is a matter of spending money wisely and putting the right people in place to guide that spending toward success. I think Ralph has the best interests of the team in mind but might not be making the right decisions. If he was only focused on making money and being cheap he would have moved the team years ago, to a market that would provide much more financial in flows. To say that Ralph is cheap is an ignorant statement, but I understand why so much blame is put on the way he has handled the team. In the grand scheme of things cutting salaries and 401Ks for a few months while this issues is being sorted out will not have as big of an impact as some other teams taking more drastic measures. At least the FO has given the staff plenty of warning of the cuts they are making, some teams, I believe the Dolphins, made cuts that completely caught their staff off guard. The staff has shown their commitment to the decisions that Ralph has made by speaking out against the filings the coaches union has made against the owners, so if the staff themselves understand the stance ownership has made who are we to judge the decisions from a viewpoint that doesn't have a complete understanding of the situation. I do feel for you and your loss of your mother, but I do not understand what you are getting at? Obviously the Rooney's have the same commitment to keeping their team in the area that is committed to them. What does how competent they are as owners have to do with keeping them in Pittsburg? If they where out to making as much money as possible they might also move the team to a region where they could get away with charging even higher ticket prices. You are also comparing the actions of what you call "competent owners" to the actions of Ralph... Maybe I am missing something. When a team is run as a profit business? What would you suggest a team is run as? Do you expect an owner of any business to run it as a charity or to not work towards making a profit? Even businesses that run as not for profit still work to make money, the money for the most part is just put back into the business, management still can make extremely high salaries. I am not sure if you are suggesting that the Bill's ownership has no interest in winning, but if Ralph did not have an interest in winning and only for profit he would have sold the team when it was at its highest value and went off and invested in other profit producing businesses that were more secure and lucrative.
  3. Ok, I agree that he has made many of the same mistakes other young players made, and that the OTAs are voluntary so he didnt have to attend. But so many of you are saying that he can learn from his mistakes and change, do you think the first step to changing and learning from his mistakes would be attending these OTAs like almost every other player on the team. There is a new coaching staff in place and every interview i have heard with other players from the team say that the new cadences and lingo are very different and are the toughest part of the learning process. I don't see that lynch is gonna be the quickest most dedicated student when he does get back to work. I just think that if a man says he is gonna try and prove that he is not what the media has made him out to be and learn from the mistakes he has made, would doing himself more justice by showing up, and not doing sports shows in LA where he comes right out and says he doesn't wanna be in Buffalo.
  4. I don't think this has anything to do with how fast any team moved, this speculation of a McNabb trade has been going on for weeks. McNabb did not want to be in Buffalo, multiple sources have said this. I am sure there was some sort of agreement as far as acceptable places for him to land. I just don't why whenever something we think should happen for this team doesn't happen it becomes a case of ineptitude on the FO's part??
  5. All the Patriots fans would just jump on the back of the passing wagon of the current winning team just like they did nine years ago....
  6. Just a heads up, hoping he give some feedback on Chan.
  7. I don't think it is an easy move for us to make, but I do think that it is the right move. The tampa 2 clearly doesn't work in our environment. I love the issues that a 3-4 causes for opposing offenses, and from the sounds of it, Gailey, god that already sounds terrible, is for it because of that very fact, lets hope.
  8. guess not last or least post, I feel the same way. This team owes none of us anything. I get it we have provided money and supported a team. I hope to god that they become successful so I can stop being the laughing stock of oh so many offices and employment locations for sticking by them. But who are we really loosing when these douches say no more? I understand marketing and when you build a brand or name that appeals and provokes support, you develop a strong brand name, but this is football. And this is buffalo what else do we have but the fing awesome sabres
  9. oh and i hope last but not least for the night... you will hear much more from me, its really not smart to maintain silence.
  10. yes please B word... you don't know the joy i get out of that... but don't tell me or anyone else that you are giving up on a team when you are wasting your time posting on one of their message boards. get me?
  11. even my own posts are a mess please ignore the spelling... I think you all get my point... if you don't like it move on, Of course we deserve a winning team but to ask for the death of our owner or to hope that frazier beats us every time we play him is just obnoxious. How could you not want the best for your team and the people who keep them your team
  12. If I hadn't been drinking all night I would have pressed the return button more more often... but thanks.... I do want to say one more thing, for year and years this team and organization has provided me with many feelings both good and bad... but what have i given back besides buying some tickets. This is a business and Im sure we all know that but can we really be that upset with ralph for maybe making decisions we might not have made. We judge other sports "experts" all the time, and we come up with our own opinions on actions taken by this team, but I don't know whats going on behind the scenes, does anyone? No matter what happens we have to give this team the benefit of the doubt until we don't want to any more. than get the f out..... peace
  13. I don't ever post on this or any board, I just read. I am finally ready to add my two pennies.... I have been a fan for some time, I'm sure not nearly as long as others but I remember as youngster when we were in the superbowl years collecting the full page images from the newspaper of different players and posting all of them around my house the day of the big game, and I sat there , waiting for the game to start, most of the time without the rest of my family really providing any support. Every year being just as upset as the rest of you but still coming back time and time again, because I cared about this team. I will always care about this team, there is no other team that could possibly step in and make me feel the same way. For the select few of you who are determined to give up and move on and B word and complain about leaving and being let down, and not caring anymore, I say you were never fans. Of course it hurts.... it fing blows.... but I don't own this team or ever plan on having the money to own won, as I'm sure most of you don't. While I think there have been a lot of mistakes made over the years as far as leadership decisions go, without our owner, and the supporters of this team, i would have to watch sports like baseball and basketball which don't come close to matching the excitement and joy of watching my team, the bills, even take the field. So walk away, take your season tickets and run, but remember what the feeling, good or bad, that this team brings into your life. At least its an emotion.
