  1. We also have no clue whats been offered. Perhaps the Bills lowballed Freddy with a 2 year 4 million dollar deal. But perhaps, Freddy wants 5 years and 25 mil. As for players seeing this and wanting to come to Buffalo, the Bills have shown they are more than willing to extend players that deserve it, like Evans, Stroud, Williams, etc.
  2. I root for the Buffalo part of Buffalo Bills. I associate with them not for the fact that i like football and they happen to be a football team that plays in my hometown, but because they are from my hometown. When the Buffalo sign is gone off the franchise, i am gone too. Selfish buffalo first mentality? You've lost your mind. Let your neighbor bang your wife for 3-4 nights a week. She'll still be within walking distance to you for you to have dinner with and if you want someone to talk to, so she should be applauded.
  3. Atlanta has drafted 6. Chicago has drafted 6. Indy has drafted 6. (including consecutive drafts where they took 3 DBs) KC has drafted 6. The Giants have drafted 6. Tampa has drafted 6. Additionally, 12 other teams have taken 5 DBs in the past 3 years. So lets add it up. Counting the Bills, 18/32 teams (~56%) have drafted at least 5 DBs in the past 3 years. But lets pretend like every other team in the league rarely drafts DBs and the Bills are the only team that drafts lots of them. Because, you know, 7 is soo many more picks than 6.
  4. Not drafting early OL has been a problem for the Bills going back 12 or so years. But, the Bills DO NOT draft more DBs than the average NFL team, no matter how much you scream and yell. Repeating the same incorrect statement does not make it true. http://www.stadiumwall.com/index.php?showtopic=66210&hl=
  5. Well, with all the new rules in place to protect our precious wittle quaterbacks, we're honestly not too far off from a point where DEs are essentially obsolete. If you can't touch the QB anymore, coverage will be at a premium.
  6. to add to it, the titans have taken 4 first round DBs in the past 8 years.
  7. So sharing the same opinion as someone else qualifies as "regurgitating?"
  8. Someone mentioned that Parker doesn't talk to the media types. Just not how he operates. Not sure if it was Tim or someone else.
  9. A draft "reach" is a term coined by idiot draftniks and so-called "experts" who badly miscalculated on where a player was going to be taken, to put the onus of their mistake on the team and not themselves. Mock drafters always assume they are 100% correct, and that NFL teams are wrong when it comes to drafting. So when an idiot mock drafter gets burned and a player is taken 15-20 spots before where they had them "projected," they need to pin their own failures on that of the NFL team. I trust all 32 NFL franchises much more than some loser in mom's basement who posts his "mock draft."
  10. Lets see how fast Schefter's "inside" sources dry up now that he's spurned the NFLN.
  11. Sorry to muck up the Tim thread, but not even close. Last year at #11, McKelvin got a 5 year 19 million dollar deal with 12 guaranteed i think. An OT at #11 would be much less than half of what Peters is asking.
  12. E-filing works so much better than mail. Filed mine a week ago, was accepted by the gov't, and my refund should be direct deposited sometime this week.
  13. I hear ya. I went to Clarkson for all the "right" reasons. Had a great group of friends, played hockey, etc. If i had to do it all over again tho, I'm not sure i'd make the same choice. FSU has been a ton of fun.
  14. You can still transfer down here to FSU. My girl has hot single friends, and "good enough" looking slutty ones. I remember you were having some troubles with a lady friend of yours, and FSU will definitely help you get passed that. Southern women are amazing. Every male from the north should come down and get themselves one. Ultimately, go where it makes you happy. I went to Clarkson as an undergrad with ~2500 undergrads because i also wasn't too keen on going to a huge university. Now, i've been at FSU for over 5 years with their 40,000+ students. Both places have their advantages and disadvatages, but size doesn't matter. Large schools can be just as personal as small ones, and even here, class size in the upper level classes is 20 or so. You'll get to know the people in your department a lot better. One big advantage of a big school is that you have the ability to get "away" right on campus when you need to, and not have to worry about running into people you know.
  15. To eradicate the kids on your lawn?
  16. I'll be 78 and still arguing with you !@#$ers on here. Only difference will be that i will be able to think my posts instead of typing them.
  17. To me, there's a difference between someone who hasn't lived up to their selection and an out and out bust. Just because someone hasn't live dup to expectations doesn't mean you cut them, especially when those expectations are sky high. Mike Williams was an out-and-out bust. The guy simply couldn't play football. But Whitner is a solid football thus far, and only 23 years old. The guy can easily get better and is still years from entering the "prime" of his career. You dont cut a good football player simply for not "living up to draft selection spot."That would be the height of stupidity.
  18. Thank you for showing that you know absolutely nothing about FSU's players or defense. If anyone in this thread wants the info on brown, strengths and weaknesses, feel free to PM me.
  19. Kyle Orton has never completed more than 58% of his passes.
  20. Someone please explain to me why a WR who catches 4-60 per game is decent, but a PR who returns 4-60 per game is a waste of a roster spot. I'll be livid if we ever traded roscoe for less than a 2nd.
  21. Tossing your hat into the retard rodeo ring, dave? You're better than this.
  22. Of course this is a complete lie. Read kelly the dog's post. Crowell said himself that he couldn't have come back last year.
  23. You're right. Interviewing a player means we're drafting them in round 1.
  24. Solid WR with size. They got hester and Bennett. This gives Cutler another target. Murphy is coming out of the spread, and buyer beware taking wRs from that system. Especially florida WRs, who have a horrible track record in the pros. btw - i'm out tomorrow so i wont be around if we do round 3
  25. Chicago selects WR Mohamed Massaquoi
