I watched the game on ESPN +. Impressive win, as Albany kept creeping back to make it a game, and the Bandits responded with 5, and 6 goals in a row to put Albany in their place. And, a gal I used to work real estate with is marrying Josh Byrne this summer. It's been fun seeing her post about Josh.

My point is that the new stadium being fully enclosed, would greatly cut down on the sideways wind/rain/snow. Will it still affect play and fan comfort? Yes. Will it be the annoying wind chill tunnel where your beer freezes in less than 3 minutes? No. I don't believe so. And let's not forget the amazing tag line that the exterior of the new stadium will cause "wind confusion". That has to account for something, right?

Back in the early 90s, I delivered the Buffalo News and USA Today. The major issue with USA Today? UB students were stealing the boxes, removing the doors, and fitting TVs inside the box for the ultimate TV stand.

Remember, the design for the current stadium called for the 300's to face the lake. The cemetery on the stadium site needed to be moved. The family that owned the cemetery did not give permission for the cemetery to be moved, so Highmark had to have the open end facing the lake.

Just to have the option is very good.
