Hollis, Claypool and MVS are three of the least efficient WRs I’ve ever seen. All three of them under one offense would be like a squad full of Robert Royals.

Hard to be more productive than Travis "Johnny Appleseed" Henry...

I thought Davis was the best back in the draft. If he stays healthy and focused he can be a Travis Henry-type player on the field.

People need to start bracing themselves for the MASSIVE contract Spencer Brown is about to get from someone.

Thoughts: - they were need-shopping, the tape proves it. BPA is a myth. - interesting seeing Laura so involved. She’s being groomed. - my goodness McD is tight - I thought maybe he’d soften up after the Dunne article called him out but he seems even tighter now. Holy moly he is intense.

I don't know what Beane's life strategy is - but his football strategy, wrt to the offense, is hoping for best-case outcomes across the board. Best cases that would exceed what EVERY SINGLE RECEIVER has accomplished in their careers to date. It's a terrible strategy.

Being the same uninvested knucklehead that he’s always been. Waiting/hoping for people to change is a poor life strategy.

People keep saying this. It is NOT low risk. It is high risk. Bringing a known loafer into one of the youngest WR rooms in the NFL has plenty of risk. Hell, even the OC isn’t 40 years old. Who is the adult who is going to alpha that group?

I think there is something to this. When you watch his highlights, he runs decent routes but he definitely seems to drift towards contact for some reason - like he seems to bend the route toward the defender a bit. Like he needs to feel the defendant first before he can leverage himself away from his man. It’s very odd to me and probably can be coached out of him but your basketball theory may help explain why.

Just cannot believe how off-brand this is for McBeane. Borderline desperate. Maybe the youngest WR room in the NFL. Drafted a raw but focused young WR to be the Alpha and they bring in this dog as one of the “vets” in the WR room? The risk of this going sideways and Claypool becoming a bad influence on Coleman is huge given this guy’s track record. But more than anything I’m surprised they went for a guy like this, I mean I guess Benjamin was a known loafer and Star too now that I think about it. Never mind I’ve talked myself out of the point. Anyhow this signing is asinine.

Family offices, man. Succession was really on-point in terms of the dynamics and dysfunctions - hordes of acolytes vying for the Big Man’s favor, horizontal structures where the sands are always shifting, knives out everywhere, qualified people reduced to sleazy yes-men. I have seen it all up close and I’m guessing that’s some version of what is going on in Pegulaville. It’s not unique - it’s most of these operations.
