I wonder if it matters where the pressure comes from.

Yup. I tried it out (in my living room) and I kind of get it - if you bring your front foot off the ground on the rotation you can swing your hips through faster. Not sure how it affects velocity - it’s odd because you would think raising your pivot point off the floor would reduce your power but if you do it all in one motion it really doesn’t.

I wonder if the anticipated pressure up the middle tomorrow will impact his comfort level doing that front foot hop step. Interior passrush often gets a QB to revert to poor mechanics.

It was a vertical attack that resulted in 31 points and a division win. The guys throwing and catching it are always going to get the attention, but the Bills' offensive line was very good as well.
