  1. Not nearly precise enough in the red zone. Come on guys.
  2. I’d sign him right away. McKenzie isn’t trustworthy back there and Roberts, though having a down year, is far better.
  3. The Brady commercial kills me. They literally say at the end of it “but you don’t even eat bread!” and he laughs. Like, they’re embracing the fact that someone in extremely good shape wouldn’t eat their product. Centuries of marketing science out the window - and it’s not like that brand can afford risks, they’re still reeling from going “all in” with a convicted pedophile as their lasting brand spokesman. You’ve got “Panera Bread” changing to “Panera …….. bread” because bread now equals lack of fitness and nutrition. And there’s good old Subway just embracing the fatness. Fascinating. Anyway I’ve lost the thread, literally. JJ Watt, neat player.
  4. Especially when they can't stop the other team's offense. They're going to eat clock and try to win the game late. Don't think they have the horses to succeed in that plan on either side of the ball - would require the Bills having a real off-day.
  5. Very curious to see how he plays this Monday. I suspect Titans will mostly abandon the passing game except for toss-ups to their big WRs and instead will lean into their strength and test the will of the Bills’ defense to chase-and-tackle for four quarters. Edmunds will have to play a physical downhill game which has not exactly been his strength… looking forward to seeing whether his evolution is real.
  6. Please come see me in my office when you get to work this morning.
  7. If I’m the Titans I’m going to lean on my strength on offense - they don’t have an elite passing game and the Bills have one of the best secondaries in the NFL - might as well make it a physical game and test the Bills’ willingness to chase-and-tackle for four quarters. Only way it works for them is if the Bills are soft coming off a franchise-defining prime time win.
  8. lol wut
  9. There was a play in this game where the Chiefs were called for offensive holding and it resulted in a 5-yard GAIN for them. I’m not making this up, it happened. McDermott lost his mind. The FBI should open a file on it. That is all.
  10. Sneaky need: KR/PR
  11. I don’t think I’ve seen it postulated anywhere else that perhaps Allen didn’t suck in college, it was the plays he was being asked to run that sucked (for him at least), fascinating.
  12. The best part of this was his conclusion that Daboll kept most of the game plan under wraps for the first month of the season - they had the Chiefs game circled on the calendar. Coaches thinking Big Picture, and it’s what the Chiefs did to us in 2020. This team is arriving.
  13. Anyone else find themselves watching highlights of that game over and over again? I can’t stop.
  14. Maybe Goodell doesn't appreciate some of the things that Gruden said about him and is a vindictive $%@$@? PFT is speculating that the releases have been selective, and that there are more - including, possibly, emails denigrating Mark Davis. They think Gruden may have resigned before those emails come to light. Regardless of the reason, I don't feel sorry for the guy. There are armies of middle-aged white men who are seeing the narrative shift on them late in their careers but who frankly should've known better. I get the "glass houses" thing and I'm not about to defend cancel culture. But in my experience (and I have a lot of it), the folks who get "cancelled" are usually complete a-holes who have no real allies left because of how they've treated everyone for years and years. They might not deserve to have their reputations sullied, and they might not actually be racists or misogynists, etc., but they probably deserved the comeuppance.
  15. And/or, instead of sending a formal memo announcing (retroactive) changes to their personal conduct policy to reflect updated societal mores, Gruden WAS the memo. Much easier.
  16. Agree about Diggs - thought he had his worst game as a Bill. On the deep pass he could’ve scored but he somehow forgot(?) there was a defender chasing him and slowed down. He dropped a pass on third down and otherwise had trouble separating. Just not sure what was going on with him.
  17. I think this proves, yet again, that nothing good has ever come from being friends with Bruce Allen.
  18. Folks are not talking enough about (i) last night’s likely implications for home field in the playoffs, and (ii) what beating a prime opponent in prime time on the road will do for the confidence of this team in its quest to go win a Super Bowl. Last night’s win was a huge milestone for McBeane’s program, aka “the Process.”
  19. I’m not worried about losses anymore - I’m worried about cheap shots and injuries, starting Monday night in Nashville. That team and their coach are dirty and it’ll be a miracle to come out of there healthy.
