@RyanTalbotBills: Update: Source says talks with Bills have concluded. “He’s going where he feels wanted and returning home to the #Bengals.”
Woo hoo!
Thank you (again) Bengals! Good riddance JAG Brown. Your snippiness through the FA process was unnecessary.
I love all of that. Except Preston Brown and Deonte Thompson. The only players worth re-signing are Kyle Williams (done) and Leonard Johnson. Brown and Thompson are both JAG and should be factored into the Comp formula as losses.
I say you're full of shite.
Although, I will say that after the McCarron signing, they're going to put it out there that they won't be moving up (at some point before the draft).
Smokescreens and leverage and all.
New rule: if you post the Bills are getting Nick Foles and that you have a source - you automatically get put on Probation.
If he ends up here, your probationary period is over. If he doesn't - you get banned.
Because his spot on the team will be taken by a Speed WR. Maybe DJ Chark in the Draft. With Kelvin Benjamin, Zay Jones, and Andre Holmes (as well as Brandon Riley) - no need to spend the money. Especially since Tyrod's no longer here.
What does that have to do with anything? I didn't see 12 mentioned anywhere in the post. Even if it was, Mike Glennon agreed to terms with Arizona yesterday and he won't even be cut until 4. Talking heads wouldn't wait until we technically have the pick to report a deal is in place for it.
All I know is if we don't get AJ McCarron, we BETTER draft Sam Darnold or Josh Rosen.
I can't stomach starting Josh Allen right out of the gate. Or someone like Matt Moore/Derek Anderson for ANY extended period of time.
I hate you, Benjamin Allbright. I really do. The idea of Matt Moore for any stretch of time makes me ill. At least it's possible McCarron turns into something.
I'm starting to really think it's McCarron and that it's always been McCarron. I find it very odd that most people thought he'd be getting paid after Cousins and that he hasn't been linked to anyone yet.
