  1. How do you know he's not a Football Mohammed, instead of a Football Jesus?
  2. That's right. Movie bone >>> Kevlar, composite vehicle armor, steels, etc. No bad guys use hollowpoint, fragmenting rounds. Semi-auto firearms never jam. Silencers can be affixed to revolvers. The gap between the cylinder and the barrel doesn't make a peep.
  3. That's right - chest or back wounds have no effect. Tendons, ligatures, and nerves are never cut, too, because all knife attackers seemingly have a deep knowledge of anatomy and take especial care.
  4. May you die young and avoid such criticism.
  5. And with such grave wounds, you can maintain all clarity, and travel great distancesand spans of time without a wince of pain. You almost never need medical attention, and never suffer infection.
  6. That's what I used for years, but in the past few, I've been buying canned stuff (I'm a sucker for things on sale with a hefty coupon). I've attributed an increase in chafing to my continuing fossilization, but perhaps it's that gel stuff. I'll go back to the soap and see. Thanks!
  7. Kitna...nice guy, good leader. Undrafted, eked out a 13 yr career. Stepped aside gracefully, and enthusiastically supported Palmer after being named the Comeback Player of the year the previous season. He was a good player for some very poor B'gals teams. Then going to DET! Yikes! He has a fatal flaw - very small hands. I wouldn't want the see the Bills pick him up.
  8. How come Stalin, Lenin, Mao always get a pass?

  10. Thanks all! Now that I think of it, there was a thread a few weeks ago about this.
  11. I seem to recall that's done during the NFL annual meeting. Any opinions about if BUF will get any? They lost Greer, and signed Fitz and TO.
  12. I certainly appreciate veteran leadership, but isn't the QB coach that teams have supposed to "mentor" the QBs?
  13. Yes - they tried to replace TJ Housh. Palmer has been throwing high for some time now. He (Palmer) is in his 7th year and been in just 2 playoff games. I read in the local paper here, a quote by Coles after he was cut. He said that Palmer liked "tall" receivers. Coles was a fine blocker - I'm concerned about BUF not keeping Josh Reed I'm not trying to "sell" Coles to the Bills - a poster mentioned him, and I added my 2 cents.
  14. Coles wasn't as bad as it looked last season with CIN. He had early drops, but Palmer has become a high thrower. I don't know how many balls were tossed his way - the B'gals ran a lot, and Coles sure did a fine job blocking. No idea what his price would be...he got a nice chunk off of Cin.
  15. Nixie et al should be renting buses - now - to bring any and all that claim to be an OL, and give 'em a look.
  16. http://news.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/a...NEWS01/3190376/ Recently, there has been a local controversy about the razing of his home.
  17. Don't be...pedants tend towards accuracy.
  18. I use Trac II, but not exclusively. I buy the 3 or 4 blade disposables when there's a store sale, in combination with a fat Sunday newspaper coupon (3 or 4 bucks). BiC, Schick, Gillette, women's, men's...whatever. I do not recommend 2-blade disposables.
  19. Edwards seems to be a roll of the dice...take your pick...he's damaged goods, or his previous employer felt he and his $ didn't fit in with their plans. Or he needs a new venue. Who knows? He could be lights out with the BUF team. Or worthless. I guess we have to wait and see.
  20. Edwards seems to be a roll of the dice..
