  1. No...please don't!
  2. I heard a fellow on the radio claim he saw a tee shirt that said Anger management classes really p*ss me off!
  3. Aaron and Donte, sittin' in a tree, t-w-e-e-t-i-n-g...
  4. Well, they face a rough schedule. Holes on the OL, WR problems, QB question marks. A crazy switch to a 3 - 4 defense, which most feel they don't have the current personnel to pull off...I can't see that 9 picks matter that much - few make the cut. 6 wins? Again?
  5. I saw only one BUF games last season...TB, and he wasn't in the lineup then IIRC. How was he in run defense?
  6. You worry a lot about these astrological events. Feeling guilty?
  7. Hard to think that anyone in the top ten is a player CIN covets. And their owner would choke at paying top ten $$$ two years in a row. They'd love to see CB Haden fall, and move Leon Hall to a safety spot. Unlikely. Were I calling their shots, I'd look at an OLB...they want to move Maualuga to MLB. Unless one of the highly-rated DEs fall to them, I can see them selecting Missouri's Witherspoon. They re-signed their DC, Zimmer, to a fat contract, and he's a believer in solid linebackers.
  8. S Chad Jones LSU - 4th rnd, CIN.

  10. I'm hoping their $$$ grab backfires on them. For years, I turned on the box all draft day - I was part of their ratings. Last year's change was goofy - reducing the round times. Teams are making million-dollar decisions, trying to work trades - and they cut the 1st round time limit by a third. Insanity. I'll tune in around the time BUF selects, and again when the Candy Stripers pick. Other than that - forget it. I'll check the web sites for other results. That they stuck it to fans who attend is beyond question...
  11. I would blame them. A 2nd round risk pick, maybe even moving up a bit for a qb - yes, even a Tebow or McCoy. I just don't see them helping themselves a lot with this weak qb crop to spend the #9 on one. I favor one of the big noise LBs or DEs in rnd 1...and why in the world with all their problems, they seem want to go to a 3-4...escapes me. Blasphemy, I know...but if one of the top DBs is there at #9 - my head would spin - McGee isn't going to last much longer. Please forgive me Bill from NYC.
  12. I'm thinking somebody will bite...ethics and the NFL and many of their fans are strange bedfellows - look years ago, how Lawrence Phillips' name was bandied about. As mentioned above, the B'gal's owner - "Bargain Mike" - and his self-styled messianic HC might take a sniff. Same as 'ole Al.

  14. I know it's a team game. Review his career. If BUF wants to buy him and fork over the guaranteed $19M still due to him, in addition to the yearly cash, they are welcome. Just make sure that your wrs can leap high and work with him for a solid year or so to get the timing down, that he requires.
  15. Knock Palmer off your list. I'll cut him slack for the 1st play busting of his knee in his initial playoff game in '05. And having an archidiot OC his entire career. He stunk this year against NYJ - twice - 2 losses, and an exit to their 2nd playoff game with him at the helm. I've watched his entire career. He is extremely predictable. Going into his 8th year - he led his club to two playoff losses. Huge contract. Fades at the end of his seasons. He's a nice guy..but a losing NFL qb.
  16. NFL.com and CBSSports.com run draft trackers, with constant updates. Since this year, the draft is spread out over a couple of days, those sites are appealing to me instead of the tv hoopla.
  17. True. For me, if I have an attack (a rarity these days, even after stopping allopurinol), ingestion of acidic foods and those high in purines really ratchets things up.

  20. With VD.
  21. IIRC, pickle juice and Kraft macaroni boiled in a pan, then fried up in the same pan. This or that spice added to taste.
