  1. They would make more money if they offered the stream package to everyone.
  2. How about no? Why give up the best player at his position for a lottery ticket?
  3. Here's what I'm curious about. If they do this, how many new Covid cases will emerge from players who weren't quarantined? Why I'd like to know is if they will allow forfeits?
  4. I think they would have announced it by now but they're waiting a bit to feel sure they will play.
  5. Please show me a team that has all-pros at every position.
  6. Apparently Dwayne's ex-wife, but ongoing business partner, was there one who wanted to do this. Lots of interesting stuff here. ESPN: The XFL, The Rock, Dany Garcia and $15 million - What we know about the league's sale, 2021 season. https://www.espn.com/xfl/story/_/id/29593665/the-xfl-rock-dany-garcia-15-million-know-league-sale-2021-season
  7. Ouch. Now you're triggering my BBFS.
  8. So, Long back to the Jets?
  9. Actual investment for Dwayne was $7.5MM. Redbird payed the other $7.5MM.
  10. Someone raised this earlier. It's curious that one of Vince's old wrestlers bought his league. Is there some back room handshake?
  11. Sarcasm? https://forums.theganggreen.com/threads/brian-winters-cut.94168/page-3#post-3951357
  12. Isn't it great to be that team players want to join?
  13. Makes too much sense. Pass. But seriously this is a good idea. And let's scrap the west coast trips and play only our division home-and-home, then either the NFC East 2-home, 2-away for 10 games, or play the 4 closest non-division teams to you. In our case, PIT, CLE, DET, NYG.
  14. Win a Super Bowl for Marv.
  15. The NFL will never sanction an official development league ever again because of the potential liability. They won't stop any independent league, especially a spring league, that doesn't affect them. And to be clear, The Rock is just part owner.
  16. Good for Dwayne. Don't discount his star power helping the XFL. The NFL had no problem with the XFL. In fact there was XFL news on NFL.com.
  17. I assume this is sarcasm. Because this would be the likely result of infecting the entire US population with SARS-Cov-2. Thanks. Just a temp avatar. The problem with pulling players off the street is you are just bringing in more potentially infected people into your bubble. Those players may not have been quarantined because they didn't expect to be in the NFL. So it's not a solution for many reasons, not just that one. You could see teams just shut down. My question is does the NFL scuttle the season if a few teams go down, or do they write that possibility into the rules for 2020?
  18. One thing the NFL should seriously discuss is what happens if teams are forced to drop out. Let's say 4-5 teams get so ravaged they can't field a team? Do you scuttle the season for 28 teams? Maybe they should discuss a contingency for that. Unplanned byes,? Last-minute schedule changes?
  19. Do they really make that or is that their potential take based on stadium capacity?
  20. There is nothing to discuss at this point. No one is playing games yet. Everyone has an opinion.
