  1. Highmark (whatever) Stadium is too wide to put a roof on unless you're cool with massive girders obstructing your view. Retractable roofs are a huge waste of money. Does a sunroof make a car feel like a convertible? Same with a stadium. You're not outside. You're inside with a hole in the roof.
  2. Not a practical solution. Especially when you have friends who ask you to buy some expensive sports or concert ticket for them and they'll reimburse you, then turn around and tell you they can't go and your stuck. 😠
  3. I'm usually not a conspiracy type but considering how long the NFL has been on the Bills to upgrade their stadium, it would be much easier to ask for stadium funding after a Super Bowl win. Just saying. That won't happen. But you know who would probably pay for that? Delaware North Corporation. The people who are in the business of $14 beers.
  4. You can't control who buys your seats
  5. Why can't it be both? I'm a fan but I live 500 miles away. I get to 3-5 games. And I've had my seats since 2003. Hardly the golden age of Bills football. I bought my seats because at the time there was a real fear the franchise would move. I wanted to do my part to keep season ticket numbers up. As it turned out if I sold the hot games it would cover my ticket renewal and let me see a few games.
  6. That was the plan. Make bank early, take a loss on the later ones.
  7. 60K used to be the cap. Not sure what it is now.
  8. Even in the worst years you could get close to break even on Bills tickets.
  9. Sorry, no link. Came via email.
  10. I'm really hoping HBO Hard Knocks chooses Jacksonville this season. Should be extremely entertaining.

  12. I just grabbed seats for the Astros Saturday and Sunday. Average price per seat in sections 113-117, including fees, $94.
  13. Everyone is asking about what the Jays will charge. I went to their website and looked up what they are charging for games in Dunedin. Tickets range between $44 to $66. They might change more in the best sections but because those are were sold out I couldn't see what they cost. They also might charge a premium for Yankees and Red Sox games.
  14. The big question is will they go vaxxed-only in the ballpark? They could sell all 19,000 seats if they do that.
  15. Bills season ticket holders should have gotten an email today. They are now part of the Blue Jays ticket presale on Wednesday at 10am.
  16. I just want to see they guy play again. Not much said about him in rookie camp.
  17. We might take a small hit losing some players but Mo & Co are going to make things happen for UB. The quality of his coaching staff is impressive and has the feel that when Mo goes, one of these guys will step in. I'm still hoping Linguist could pull some talent out of the portal from other schools.
  18. Sorry I missed it. Doing yard work all day.
  19. It's great having the Packers in Buffalo but it'll be a shame if it's all UDFAs and guys who'll get cut.
  20. So which preseason game is the one the starters play in the most? Second or third?
  21. It would not surprise me if the best seats for those games were that high. I have a buddy who works for the county who said he heard the least expensive seats will start at $65. The MLB in what will be a 6K seat park will not be cheap. I plan to go just to say I was there, even it's a lot to pay.
  22. Actually both Granato and Adams did well. Eichel not so much.
