People trashed Jim Kelly too. Remember Bill Polian saying "Jim Kelly is our quarterback, if you don't like it get out of town". I think this happened in the "bickering Bills" season of 1989. Allen played against the super bowl champs. KC is a very good team and he has virtually no running game (unless he runs it himself). Lack of a running game is something Kelly never had to deal with during his career.

With a tough schedule, this D, and the lack of a running game (needed in buffalo late season).... They will finish 8-8. Hope i'm wrong and they can fix it somehow but the D line and LB's are complete garbage. Every team will run it down our throat.

The big difference between 1991 and 2020 teams: The 1991 team had several proven stars and leadership on offense defense and special teams, and 1991 team could destroy you with a lethal running game.

Hope he doesn't end up like Aaron Maybin - that dude was way too light and couldn't keep weight on.

I thought about this KC game over the past week and expected us to be 5-0 and have our first loss to KC this year. We got destroyed by KC in 1991 but shook it off and had a great season. Hope that happens again this year but the D needs to find some answers quick. I was in college in Buffalo back in those days. Fun times.

I agree - White and Milano are key to this defense and they are much better with them. However, the D-line just isn't getting it done. No QB pressure and very little penetration. It all starts up front.

This defense needs a leader...Lorax was it and now who is going to step up? Hasn't happened yet.

Maybe Edmund's shoulder injury has affected his speed....he looks rather slow ?? I think they miss Jordan Phillips more than Star actually.

D line is getting blown off the ball, no pass rush no penetration its sad. LB's look slow and out of position. Hopefully they can fix this. Someone on the D has to step up and become a leader. LORAX was that guy....his leadership is missed.

He would still be slow, non-physical, and drop passes. I'll take Davis over Jones any day.

The entire D is playing very "meh". It almost seems like they are confident the offense will bail them out....The D-Line was nowhere today.
