Negative. After touched, but still a live ball, whatever happens is the option of the receiving team. If they pick it up and fumble or advance less yards than where it was touched you can take it there. If you get more yards or a TD, you can elect to take the completed play.

There's no risk after the kicking team touches it. If you get stopped you get the ball where it was touched. If you fumble, you get the ball where it was touched. If you score, it's a TD.
