  1. Its felt over since the Broncos loss. that 12 man penalty is just inexcusable. however. If the dolphins blow a game to washington, titans or the jets then the bills have a shot because you can make the case Miami could lose two in a row before Buffalo rolls into town week 18. I am going to say its over though. The KC game is more a of must win than philly was but the way they lost to philly into a bye week just feels like emotionally they wont be able to get back up to that level. Buffalo is basically in the role of spoiler now. They can screw up the seedings of Miami or KC with wins and they can maybe give Philly the division if they beat Dallas but other than that it feels like they are just playing out the schedule. Would love to see the offense close out the season strong and keep running the ball and playing physical. I am looking forward to knox being back. If the team finishes 9-8 but plays great offense down the stretch It wont be as hard to take since that will more than likely signal the end of McDermott and some changes to the defense and a new voice leading the team. Hopefully Diggs doesn't go nuclear over the next month.
  2. he was a big dude like 6"4 ish and he reached over like he was tough and as he told us Ty Domi nailed him and dragged him down closer and got another shot in and yelled some stuff at him.
  3. Uhh...he watched a video of his star running back beat up his gf, knock her out actually in an elevator.....and was totally cool with it. only after the video was released were they morally outraged. I have never understood how he kept his job and why he is not hated.
  4. just say it phonetically....real slow with a nice southern accent. it will make sense then.
  5. He and his brother are basically scumbags. Not really sure he is a guy you want to bring in. personally I would never hire either him or his brother. if they were to however Buffalo would run the hell out of the ball and Kincaid would have huge numbers.
  6. probably like most of us they spent the week watching Oppenheimer. What a great movie. Mcdermott should have called the atomic bomb defense on that final possession of the 4th quarter
  7. But the offense essentially won the game twice right? How many times late does the defense need to make mistakes before it ultimately falls on them? and again if Davis doesn't go to the corner they win. hasn't buffalo won the last two regular season matchups?
  8. yea that is my point. They have one championship. They are not the best. My other point was that they have accomplished the exact same thing those other franchises I mentioned have in the last ten years and I Think SF is about to this year with a SB win. so again, how are they the best if they have only one championship and there are others with more and or equal that are still going at it? I'm nitpicking the annoying "The eagles are the best" narrative that everyone throws out. No one ever mentions how others have done the same or more. They have some talented young guys again. If stafford stays healthy they have a shot to sneak into the 7 seed. If they beat cleveland at home this week which they have a shot at then they are setup to make that run. Probably not winning at baltimore and the final game vs sf is tough but the rams always play the niners tough and who knows what that game will mean for the 49ers. its a long shot but the nfc is terrible after the 4 division leaders.
  9. Why go to overtime when the offense just handed you a lead with 2 minutes to go. A drive that was the best of the season and would have been a statement had the defense been able to get a stop and force them to throw a hail mary or something on 4th down. or Davis could have turned the right way and caught an easy GW TD pass. Either way the defense was given two leads late that had they got one stop in either the bills win much like the rest of the year.
  10. I didn't I thought they were going to make it a two score game yesterday late and much like the tampa game noy allow the defense to blow it.
  11. stop and think about the crap storm that would have come down on Allen and in turn the team had he spoken out of line about anything related to the team. The narrative was put into place by diggs actions after the bengals loss in the playoffs. Allen does not get to speak out on these things.
  12. Umm no. You are not responding to what I said correctly. In the last ten years the eagles have not done anymore and in some cases have done less than the teams I mentioned. What does the rams 2000 team have to do with anything? The Sean McVay-Les Snead duo in Los Angeles has lost a super bowl and won a super bowl, two different qbs. (They look like they have young talent again) Pete Carroll - John schneider have won a super bowl and lost a super bowl. Andy Reid - Brett Veach - two sb championships Bill Belichick no point in listing accomplishments. SF seems to be about ready to be on this list with a lost a super bowl and won a super bowl also. so.. Kyle Shannahn - John Lynch the eagles have not done anything much different than any of these people and if they blow this season (I think they will) I mean how are they the best.
  13. I want an offensive head coach with a good system but.... sometimes coaches like Andy Reid, Dick Vermeil, Tony Dungy, Bill Belichick, Pete Carroll need a second or third chance to apply what they have done wrong in past situations and get better going forward in order to win. having said that. Dan Quinn is going to be a huge candidate and especially if Dallas ends up Getting the nfc championship which I sadly think they are going to if the nfc ends up how I think it will. So Dan Quinn here as head coach, with one of his guys as defensive coordinator and a young offensive coach (Maybe Brady) like he had in shannahan in Atlanta could be something that works. In a year where there will be changes on defense its as good a time as any to have an established defensive guy here to help make the changes he wants. Players love Dan Quinn, he kind of has a bit of Dan Campbell ness to him. He refused jobs last year to stay in Dallas and try and win a super bowl.....Some think he is just waiting out McCarthy if he blows it in the playoffs again this year....but I can't imagine he doesn't take a job when offered this year......more importantly no one is turning down a job to a coach a Team with Josh Allen. just spitballing.....kind of like having a different version of McDermott I guess.
  14. I think yesterday was unique. They ran a ton of plays and the weather was bad. Using all the active wr makes sense to me. I don't see anything wrong with diggs being out a few plays on 3rd downs. He may have had something we don't know about bothering him yesterday or maybe he was just winded at times like everyone else. The wr job description number 1 is to be able to run all day but even in saying that They ran a lot of plays and if he was subbed because he needed a breather or they were giving him one to keep him fresh I do not see it as a problem.
  15. OMG yet another back handed blame Josh Allen post. You guys are going to blame him for the winter being cold soon.
  16. yea they have done a good job. Yes they beat new england and change the staff. I am just saying if the eagles front office is going to be talked about being among the best shouldn't they have more than one championship? Usually the best do it more than once to get that reputation. and one more nitpicky thing here, the Eagles were given the gift of all gifts last year playing the giants at home in the divisional round and the 49ers with no qb for 3 quarters in the championship game. Its not like they went on some NY giants 07 or 11 run and made this historic finish from the wild card to champions? They got the ultimate break last year in that championship game and then lost the next week. I do not think they beat SF last year if purdy stays healthy and I do not believe they beat SF or Dallas this year if they play them in the playoffs. so yea the eagles front office has made some excellent decisions and dumping wentz and putting in Hurts was the best one but I just think calling them the best is not fair, not when there are other front offices who have the same accomplishments. I mean if you go back over the last 10 years Seattle, KC, New England, Rams all have done the same or more.
  17. The best front offices win super bowls and play in a lot of them. Howie roseman has made some excellent moves but I mean before he is declared the best shouldn't they win some championships? You could make the case the Rams have been much better in the front office, GM and Head Coach than the eagles have been.
  18. yea he was right there and romo repeatedly mentioned it and they never showed the replay that had davis like 5 feet from Allen. everything about that call and that sequence stinks.

  20. Hell No. he is a terrible coach.
  21. They are up there for sure. The funny thing is they don't win anything really. I get that fans hate Yankees fans ( I am one), bulls fans, pats fans etc. etc.. They have a history and culture of winning. The eagles history is just losing playoff games. I mean they had the all time greatest head coach offensive coordinator personnel man etc....in Andy Reid and made it to one super bowl and lost. I mean come on. again I am 100 % convinced they are going to slip here and blow the division and lose in the divisional round. I am going to be rooting for the Detroit Lions so hard...I was really rooting for the Rust belt super bowl we all deserve this year but I guess it is not to be. we are probably going to be forced to sit through KC and SF or worse KC and Dallas.
  22. Oh No... what is the medical report? is he going to make it? I hope his family was able to make it in time for the priest to administer his last rights. Now if you will excuse me I am going to go dust my ten foot live laugh love wooden sign by my front door and pray for the city of Philadelphia in this trying time.
  23. not to mention he had no leverage. He was beat at the snap of the ball and was chasing davis with his back turned. That is a recipe for a td or a PI. The broncos did it to buffalo two weeks ago and got a cheap PI and ended up winning the game on that drive. People keep using the word leverage and they are confusing it with position. The db basically was beat and turned and was chasing. If davis goes inside he has an easy catch looking right at the ball and the d back is again, chasing with his back turned and would probably commit a PI or just be flat out late. anyway, whatever I guess.
  24. Nope. It is not. The rules are setup to keep these games close....If you have a big lead it is not safe and if you are trailing late it is never insurmountable. Unlike MLB where you really earn your wins, (there are no Flags thrown after a walk off home run or a double play turned in the bottom of the 9th where the offense gets another crack at it because a player was 6 inches out of position before the pitch having nothing to do with the play...and yes i know they put in rules against the shift and how far over the ss and 2b can be) anyway. The NFL competition committee wants the game this way exactly. 4th and forever late in the game down 4 or 6 just heave one up and the officials will call anything close a penalty to give you another chance. This is how the competition committee wants it and this is how they call it. Yesterday was an atrocious day for the over officious jerks...they missed three shots to the heads of bills players, blatant PI and a ridiculous horse collar....Nothing will come of it and no one will care in a few days or weeks after the next thing grabs the headlines. As long as people are watching and the games are close the NFL Owners are winning.
