I think this is more a direct response to the fan and media's Obsession over the term Number 1 WR. The obsession over numbering the WR happens on every team and its pointless. The best teams always have players that are versatile whether its at WR or O-Line or Dline.

Just a reminder reading through this thread and Joe Buscaglia pointed it out yesterday McDermott likes to rotate guys in and out with the 1's by the day so do not read to much into who is with the 1's and who isn't on defense every day.

I think its time to order a Ray Davis jersey.

Davis is 5"8 220 that is old school running back size. Emmitt smith, barry, thurman etc. Gore is 5"8 200....little slimmer.

Cool Story. These athletes are like 1% of the population and their output produces billions of dollars for old owners who do nothing but ripoff their fans. There are so few people on the planet that could play this game at this level and only for a few years at that. The players deserve every penny they get and they should do what they have to in order to make sure they are getting it. The nfl union is super weak because the players do not have a backbone but at least individually they will pretend to hold out to get paid. If only they did that collectively. but if you think you or I or any of us has any similar relationship to this situation go ahead and try it.

You think the Jets offensive line is better than Buffalo's? I am very curious to know what has led to this conclusion.

this looks like a good deep group with a couple of developmental players. Guys will get cut from this team if everyone is healthy and make other teams rosters and play this year. also, much like the wr group, this unit is very big. The bills have an overall very big offense.

I am a big fan. he looks like the typical old school back to me. I love it. I also was told by a friend who works for a team that they had intended to take him earlier before buffalo and make him their starter but they went in a different direction because of some other needs. Hoped to get him later. So he is thought of highly by more than just us fans.

Dan fetes has been preaching that Hamlin was great in minicamp/ota/offseason stuff this year. I didn't put any stock into that because there is no contact but it makes sense he would start out ahead of two new players in the scheme early in camp.
