yea teams do it all the time. A player will probably come up with a hamstring or ankle injury after practice friday and will be put on IR so they can activate Jones. also I am a little concerned that Hyde could still end up on IR and miss the rest of the year which would make sense they then put elam on the roster if they need guys in the secondary and allowing them to activate jones. Hope this doesn't happen though.

I avoid the talking heads because I get nothing out of it but since I have been sick for two damn weeks I have watched a lot of this garbage on utube. It seems there is a whole group of former players who all have something in common which i wont mention who seem to take it personal when it comes to allen and will not give him credit. They literally seem to get mad if someone says he is as good as mahomes, tua, hurts, dak, jackson etc. I will leave it at that. I will also say I saw that halfwit Dez Bryant on twitter saying saturday night that diggs needs to get up out of Buffalo because Allen isn't good enough to get him the ball. I don't why, how or when this started but its pretty stupid. I don't get mad about it and I find it kind 0f pathetic that this is what these networks are at the moment and the best they can do. The Bills will have until 4 PM ET tomorrow/Wednesday to activate him to the 53-man roster or have him stay on IR for the remainder of the season. They could activate him, then release him with the intent of re-signing him to the PS, but it’s highly unlikely he would pass through waivers unclaimed. So I doubt that’s the play. DT DaQuan Jones also appears set to return soon. They actually have until January 9 to activate him, but if he’s healthy enough and the team wants him available this weekend vs. Patriots, they’d have to do it this week. In that scenario, if they activated both Elam and Jones, they would have to make room on the roster for one player, either via release or IR. Or just wait another week on Jones and see what happens. The team also has until January 3 to activate WR Justin shorter from IR or he will stay there for the remainder of the season. DT Jordan Phillips remains on IR and must miss three more games, including the first round of the playoffs, should the Bills make it. As far as practice squad elevations, RB Leonard Fournette still has two remaining with only two regular season games left. They can elevate him for both vs. Patriots and at Dolphins with no issues. In the postseason, players can be elevated an unlimited number of times, but each team can still elevate a maximum of only two players per week.

Since baltimore is playing the same offense essentially two weeks in a row this is a good early sign. I will never trust lamar jackson to not play poorly in a big game however so my optimism is very low.

i can not tolerate another second of a mahomes/reid/kelce commercial. They are worse than peyton manning. Manning I do not think ever said no to a single endorsement or self promotion opportunity and these guys are worse. I cant stand them all.

i am not sure how i feel about this game. I think I would like Baltimore to win a close hard fought game but then I am worried about them being able to get back up vs a good miami team next week. I wish Dallas would have played detroit this week and miami and baltimore too. I guess if baltimore gets blown out tonight they will be really focused so there is that too i guess.

Making the bills surviving the game at LA even more impressive. this is that week where things get turned on their heads and the bills found a way. I am terrified of belichick next sunday but surviving saturday night looks more impressive than lucky.
