the 1991 washington redskins are the best team i have ever watched and yes i saw the 85 bears, 89 niners and 07 pats. they had everything, the only weakness was rypien and he was great in 91, played better than he ever had or would ever again.

he got shut out for essentially the final 3 quarters. the chiefs defense was fantastic again this week. not debating how good mahomes is but the ravens scored 10 points while the chiefs defense got 3 takeaways.

this game was a disaster from start to finish for baltimore. barring some kind of miracle finish they got outclassed in every aspect of the game.

Goff has had some success vs the chiefs and beat them this year. the lions offense is perfectly suited to attack the chiefs defense.

there it is. detroit is all that stands between the chiefs and another super bowl.

Why does this situation keep getting compared to the colts. Its almost identical to the early - mid 90's packers. They could not beat Dallas in the playoffs. Lost 3 straight years at texas stadium. Then Dallas self destructed in 96 and the packers got to play the panthers and they went and won the superbowl. Now that staff in GB had Holmgren, Reid, Mariucci, Gruden Etc....this one does not but there are some similarities. The Chiefs are closer to the end of their run imo than the Bills are to starting their's. IF Kelce and Reid retire in the next two years that will be huge. This bills offense with Allen and that line and running game can be even better next year. They need an upgrade at kicker and to retool the defense but I think this thing is just getting started. I would love to see some more veteran coaches brought in. Anyway, this is more like that packers team that just self destructed every year at Texas Stadium until they finally didn't have to play them anymore.

Sure feels like they need 3 things glaringly before you even get into the depth issues etc. A premiere Pass Rusher. A guy who wins against anyone and against double teams...Bosa/Watt...etc...Not going to find one at the bottom of the draft. A legitimate number 1 wr. A guy who catches everything, big wingspan and is tough. A guy who would have caught all 3 perfect deep balls sunday. A burner wr with size. A guy who scares the defense at all times. This coupled with a new #1, Kincaid, Cook & shakir and this offense is ready to go. Can they get that in one offseason? I don't think so. If they could get out of Diggs and Miller's contracts somehow via trade possibly. They can and have to draft at least one WR in the draft who can play day one and one in free agency who can help right away on day 1. I think they need to draft a center and then there is the whole rebuilding of the defense. With all the resources that have been put into the defense that was the biggest letdown sunday. The Defensive line was MIA. So was KC's essentially except for that last drive. It has to be better somehow. I have no idea how they accomplish this in one offseason with a top heavy roster already. It will take a bunch of restructures, some sort of trade and their best draft yet. I am already looking forward to it and can't wait to go to the stadium next year.
