I agree with this. Is this all of it? That’s where I differ. Him being 160lbs is a factor in my imo. It (injury) hasn’t happened doesn’t mean it can’t and won’t. Just from a logical standpoint a guy that’s 190lb could take more of a hit than a slighter guy at 160lb.
I do think he could be electric as a punt returner with his speed. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.
Yes. So they’d risk more exposure if they had put him on punt returns. This season they can afford to do that because of other guys returning.
That was my original point of the coaching staff not wanting him to return punts last year because they couldn’t afford to lose him. And how would they potentially lose him if he returned punts? Injury concerns.
Why are we still going round and round on this?
Right. So the reason he wasn’t returning punts last year was because of injury concerns as those other two weren’t around. It really isn’t that complicated.
That may be but he did play a ton in his rookie year. I can see Worthy having an impact as a returner with his speed. But Bill’s assertion that KC coaches aren’t concerned about injury exposure to Worthy handling that duty is disingenuous.
Why didn’t they let him return punts last year when they really needed it? They opted to bring up a practice squad guy to do it instead of Worthy. Obviously injuries were a concern.
Hill returned punts as a rookie.
Of course it is. Sports IS entertainment. However, I’m willing to bet that fans of teams that won championships were more entertained during those runs than fans of teams that fell short. Saying SB’s don’t matter or that they’re bs is nutty.
One of the funniest things I’ve read on here. What’s the point of watching games and following the team if you really believe this.
Allen will end up in the hof. You can make that case without making such an outrageous statement about SBs.
Haha yeah that’s for sure. My opinion about him has changed since he first came into the league. I really didn’t think he’d be an effective starter much less one of the top guys in the AFC. He has earned respect with his play. It’s very similar to what Allen endured from some media types and fans early in his career.
‘didn't say he wasn't good.....said he isn't very smart’. This was what you wrote. You might want to look up the definition of assumptions.
I think a guy that has been a successful qb in the NFL for several years isn’t dumb regardless of whatever test he took before coming to the league.
Didn’t realized we’re arguing. lol. But it’s interesting that you think some anonymous poster’s opinion that doesn’t aligned with yours equates to an argument. You have a great day as well.
