Well, you said he’s in a system designed for him so he doesn’t deserved to be MVP. How else would someone interpret that? I didn’t realize the media was helping him play quarterback. Also didn’t know a future first ballot hof rb was standing next to him his entire career. You’re making a lot of assumptions about someone you don’t know. He’s clearly on the upper echelon of players in the NFL. He probably doesn’t fit your idea of a typical qb but that doesn’t mean he isn’t a great player.

You’re saying an offense that’s designed to a player’s strengths to minimize his weaknesses is a bad thing?

It’s a team game. When his defense gave up 35 points to the Eagles in Super Bowl 57 he had to drive his team to get the winning points at the end of the game. Same as when his defense gave up OT points to SF in Super Bowl 58. He drove his team for the winning touchdown. Just saying.

It doesn’t have to but it does. The #1 priority for any NFL team to win in this era is an elite qb. This isn’t even a debatable fact. A team with an elite qb and mediocre teammates would have a better chance than a team with a mediocre qb and superior teammates. It’s the most important position on the team so it would count for a lot if the same qb keeps leading his team past the other qbs to get to the superbowl.

Over the last 3 yrs Mahomes has also knocked those 3 guys from the title game. That’s gotta count for something.

Network pricing to watch all NFL games in 2025
90sBills replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. I did the same last year. You watch games through YouTube with your registered email. -
I answered this question a bit on my post above. I’ll expand on that here. Regular season games are only ‘meaningless’ on hindsight once the season ends in yet another heartbreak. In the present we watch to cheer and hope the team can win an advance to continue the fight. It’s not as simple as championships are everything so why even watch any game that’s not the Super Bowl.
-
I watch because I root for the team and its players. I want to see them reach the ultimate goal and feel pride as a fan. The team have had great success during this run and it has been exhilarating at times. Unfortunately, every year has ended in heartbreak. If championships don’t matter, then why do we hurt so much when they get knocked out every year? Until they win a Super Bowl, or at least get to one, all regular season successes would always ring hollow.
-
I should clarify. I’m not saying that fans shouldn’t appreciate their teams being good even without championships. But it does diminish any statistical accomplishments without championships. Especially when it’s continuous success like the Bills have had. The longer this statistical success goes on without winning, or even getting to a Super Bowl, the tougher it will be for fans to hang their hats on those successes. That’s all I’m saying.

I misread the title as: Tyreek Hill has CTE.

Gotta admit. I whiffed on your sentiment. Especially since you eye rolled that post.

Check your sarcasm meter before you do that.

Get a W against Balt in week 1 and might as well get ring sizes and plan the parade route right?

The Bills are the only team currently favored to win all 17 games

This wouldn’t be shocking at all. Balt is a good team. If this happens the week 2 game against the Jets becomes very pivotal in determining what kind of season it will be for us. -
