Wasn’t meant to move you. Just pointing out that injuries happens. Some teams can handle them better than others.
-
They lost Rice, Hollywood, Pacheco, Watson, Moore for most, if not all, of last season. No NFL team is immune to injuries.
-
What the Islanders did was incredible. As for the Bills I still get random flashback moments of those 4 Super Bowls and they still hurt. lol
-
The AFC was significantly weaker than the NFC at that time.
-
Oh don’t worry about that. Regardless of what KC will do those Bills teams did something that will never happen again. That I have the utmost confidence in.

Beat the Chiefs Sunday and I think you’re back in first

I’m not sure we should use sos logic. NE is the only good team we’ve played and well you know. I don’t think their resurgence is imaginary. But I’m with you in that they can, and will, lose more games. Bills will end up winning the division and they’ll be the wildcard. -
Well, the season is not over so I’m holding out hope that our guys would not be as bad by season’s end. How is average not functional? Because they do have one of the best QB they were still able to be successful. If you think KC was dysfunctional, yet made it to another Super Bowl then the AFC should just give up. They lost 1 game in the regular season. lol.

Yeah it did. But there were circumstances that led to it. 2023 they relied on guys like Toney and Moore to step up and become starters. They had a serious case of the dropsies and flamed out. Fortunately for them, they also drafted Rice who came on later in the season to filled the void. Of course Kelce was still serviceable as evidenced by him running all over the field in the divisional game against us. 2024 they had the injury issues at wr that, again, curtailed their offense. Yet they still managed to have a functional offense. This year those guys are back and we can see how their, Mahomes and Reid, experience attacking this offense has paid off when they have all their arsenals. Imo, Bills offense is in this stage of figuring out how to best attack it. Yes, more talent at receiver would help. But I have faith they’ll figure it out as the season wears on. One advantage they have over KC is a great running game. That’ll make things easier.
-
Yes. The stats were great because they learned how to attack that defense is my point. Getting an upgrade with the receiving corp would be great. But if Beane can’t get any deals done I have faith in the offense, specifically Allen and Brady, to adjust and improve on how to attack defenses imo.

Only if they make the db covering him wear skates.

The media literally said Mahomes was ‘broken’ during that stretch. That the league has figured him out. I agree somewhat with your view of the 2 high safeties overreaction. In KC’s case I think it did took them a little while to adjust. Especially Mahomes. He had to learn to take what the defense gave him. That transition led KC to trade away Hill that offseason and picked up JAG’s like MVS and JuJu the following year with the spread the ball around mentally. Sounds familiar? They were the top offense that year and won the Super Bowl. It worked for them because they adjusted and thrived. Bills’ offense employed the same strategy last year with great success. The receiving corp hasn’t changed that much. I think they will also adjust and thrive. Specifically Allen. I have a feeling he’s going to have a very good game this Sunday. Everyone will relax afterwards.

Atlanta’s offense didn’t explode. -
Stymied as in starting off the first 7 games with a 3-4 record that included blowout losses to our Bills and the Titans. Then they adjusted and went on a run. Yes we need better receivers. I believe Allen will also adjust and be better. Maybe starting this Sunday.
-
That’s not true. They got stymied for a big stretch of the ‘21 season when Hill was still there along with prime Kelce. They’ve gotten better against that scheme since.

He’s slippery for sure. Frogs are known for that. -
Spags is all time that’s for sure. That was also a great timely blitz. But think about it logically. What did you want our guys to say? They got outsmarted so just tip your hat to the opposition. That qb also benefited from some all time defenses. Even with that he had to deflate the ball a little so it’d fit his hands.
-
Cincy also made it to the AFCCG both times too. I’d definitely take their results over the Bills’ results with 7 playoff appearances and no Super Bowl appearance. Of course. They had terrible LT play and virtually no receivers. I’m sure someone that pays attention as much as you do is aware of that. They also beat us, again, to get to another Super Bowl.

Mahomes was dancing around in the pocket and inevitably someone breaks open. On that long Kelce play, Kelce was an inline blocker and the receivers took all the defenders way downfield. Kelce just slid out for a 5yd dump off that turned into 30+ yd. -
Kansas City.... Who/What do you despise the most?

Shouldn’t you hate the NFL instead if this is true? She didn’t ask for any of this attention from the networks and the NFL. Exactly. I see comments making fun of the Dolphins and Jets all the time. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s part of being a sports fan. Some people are way to sensitive about this stuffs. -

Yes. Just like most teams that play KC it’ll be ‘air’ that will be covering Kelce.
