  1. Yeah. Big secret that the league wants to protect star QBs. Especially with all the rule changes to protect those QBs. Ssshhhhh!
  2. No team is special. It’s a week to week situational league. Trap game for KC. Washington got blasted last game. This is going pretty much on script.
  3. Sure. It can certainly play out that way. Don’t count on the media to drive any narrative close to this notion. That’s what we’re talking about here, media narratives. I think both teams will be in the postseason regardless of Sunday’s outcome.
  4. Now this is how to LAMP correctly!
  5. Yup. It’s good to see the other teams in that division stepping up.
  6. I disagree. They looked mortal last season. They took that smoke and mirrors show all the way to the Super Bowl. This year, so far, they’re a lot more formidable on offense. It started when Worthy came back for the Baltimore game. Now Mahomes has all his receivers. He threw an uncharacteristic pick 6 in the Jax game but otherwise has looked like 2022 Mahomes, especially the last two games. KC is 4-3. If they win tonight they’d only be 1 game behind Denver and the Chargers with games remaining against them.
  7. Because it’s ultimately meaningless when they lose in the playoffs. Once or twice is ok. You gotta see that 4 times is ridiculous. I hope the media keeps driving that narrative into the playoffs should they see KC again. Maybe the team will be sick of hearing it and do something.
  8. Spags wasn’t there for those Pats games. But yeah Bengals showed it can be done.
  9. My apologies. I misunderstood it as you saying the players didn’t have a hand in those failed attempts.
  10. Have we changed coaches that I didn’t know about? My statement about clutch plays applies to the whole team, players and coaches. They’re one team. It’s not players against coaches.
  11. Which they have not shown an ability to do when the opportunity presented itself in do or die situations.
  12. They did beat KC at home last year and they weren’t a Super Bowl team. How would that be different this time around? I agree with you about the win yesterday not moving the needle. Coming off a bye after two consecutive losses they had to beat a mediocre team like Carolina. Nothing was a surprise.
  13. Exactly. Also with Tannahill. Not sure how that poster could say McD has done more…and with Allen.
  14. Vrable got the #1 seed with Tanahill.
  15. Hope it’s not like 2020 when we lost the regular season game at OP and the playoffs game at Arrowhead.
  16. Palmer had good games against KC with the Chargers. Kinda like bringing a bow and arrow to a gunfight.
  17. I get where you’re coming from. Elite QBs would have to elevate the talent around them etc. But this group is truly awful. Keon has been such a disappointment. They were able to trade for a bonafide #1 guy in Diggs. Maybe it’ll happen again.
  18. I thought Andy Reid is TBD’s consensus best play caller in the league?
  19. He abused Trey Smith last year in the regular season game.
  20. We won today right? I just want to make sure after reading through the first few pages.
  21. I think they’re complimenting McD’s complementary system. Or just mixing up the two words. lol
  22. Absolutely. Time to recoup from the Falcons loss.
