No. It’s called an infraction and penalized by downs and/or distance during the game. Cheating is like what the Pats did where suspensions and draft picks were affected outside of the actual games.
-
With that mentality I’m sure you think all football players cheat right? Like I said, it’s football not golf. Different standards.
-
It’s football not golf. They’re gonna look for advantages. Lineman hold almost every play and hope the refs don’t call it. DBs check receivers well past 5 yards and hope it’s not called. Conversely, receivers push off to gain space and hope refs miss it. In the same game Eagles false started on almost all their tush push tries. Were they cheating? Or were they doing it to gain an advantage and hope it’s not called. If you think the NFL operates with your philosophy of violating rules is cheating then you must be new to the sport. So you do you.

It’s a stretch to call this ‘cheating’.

Ravens at Chiefs - who do you want to have their third loss?

I already have. Rams is also my top pick this weekend against Indy. -

I don’t think Indy can keep this up. Two teams will come out of the North and three out of the West is my prediction. I’m not sold on Indy. It’s too early. I think 1 team will come out of the South and it’s likely Jax. 2 teams out of the North and 3 from the West to round out the 7. -

I think there will be an 8 loss team making the playoffs this year in the AFC. Look at the landscape right now. 7 teams will make it. -

I think KC has a reasonable chance to get to the playoffs regardless of the outcome this weekend. There aren’t 2 playoff teams coming out of the East or South, and possibly North. That leaves 3 teams out of the West by default. -
What Would the NFL look like without injuries?

Start of the season really could not have gone better for the Bills…

I can see them beating the Jags and 1 of the home game against Baltimore and Detroit to get to 3-3. -

Oh gotcha. I’m not sure if they can win next week. But I think they can get to 3-3 by the time Rice is back. Which would set them up for a run per usual. -

I disagree. No one knows what KC will be until the 2nd half of the season. Rice and Worthy are still out. There are rookies or 2nd guys playing on defense. The left side of their oline is anchored by a rookie and a 2nd year player. If all these guys get better with experience KC will be a completely different team by November. -

You’re saying things people don’t want to hear…even though it’s credible. -
KC was going to win this game regardless.

I thought this would be the year before last season. Now I’m convinced it is. The schedule is so favorable that the 1 seed is practically in hand. Everything is setup for this to be the year. If they can’t do it this year…
-
Yeah their defense isn’t as dominant. Chris Jones looks old and slow through these 2 games. If he isn’t elite that DL is average. Getting Rice and Worthy back will make that offense a world of difference than it is now. People underestimate how much it hurts them without their #1 and #2 guys. Of course their offense would be bad. I was surprised they put up as much of a fight as they did against Philly. If they lose to the Giants it’s over. There’s no coming back from that. I don’t think they will. I had money against them the last 2 games. I’ll be putting money on them this Sunday.

Nearly three days after that instant classic I have further thoughts…

I think they will be 0-2 after this week. Their best case scenario, imo, would be 3-3 without Rice and Worthy. When those guys are back I can see them go on a run to win the division and be a factor in the playoffs. -
