  1. Shouldn’t you hate the NFL instead if this is true? She didn’t ask for any of this attention from the networks and the NFL. Exactly. I see comments making fun of the Dolphins and Jets all the time. There’s nothing wrong with that. It’s part of being a sports fan. Some people are way to sensitive about this stuffs.
  2. Yes. Just like most teams that play KC it’ll be ‘air’ that will be covering Kelce.
  3. Or you could look at it the other way…those stacked rosters couldn’t win anything until Mahomes walked in.
  4. I don’t think they’re being bad on purpose. I think they want a balance ball control type offense. It has been working for a year plus. Agree that the receivers are not good enough right now.
  5. I agree about Allen. Playing KC brings the best out of him. Unfortunately, playing Bills also brings the best out of Mahomes. Hoping for a good competitive game.
  6. Of course we can win games. But winning the Super Bowl? I don’t think so anymore if nothing changes.
  7. Not as effectively. Hence all the passing struggles. Unless you think the problem is Allen like what this thread suggests? I think Allen can be better but it’s more on the receivers and scheme.
  8. Worthy can take defenders away from the middle part of the field where Rice and Kelce operate. Can you imagine Coleman clearing anything out? His guy could probably guard him and help out on another route. It’s not all about stats. That’s the type of scheming that our offense doesn’t have.
  9. The receivers from 2 yrs ago were not better for sure. MVS, Toney and Sky Moore were starters. Last year they had this group with Rice, Worthy and Hollywood. Injuries wiped them out last year. This is the first time they’ve played together and you can see it’s lights years better than what the Bills have. Coleman would not be on Reid’s team. Speed is essential in his offense.
  10. Ok…I’m not sure what that has anything to do our discussion. We were talking about how we ended with this underperforming receiving corp right?
  11. I think they are. No matter how great Reid is as a play caller and designer they were pedestrian last year when their receivers were injured. Look how dynamic they are now. The big difference is speed. It doesn’t seem like Bills coaching staff values or know how to use speed.
  12. I’m no expert but I would surmise that hands are the root cause of holding penalties.
  13. That logic would hold more weight if it weren’t for the team coming in to OP this weekend. They draft later than the Bills and somehow managed to field some pretty good receivers. I don’t think it’s a salary cap or draft position issue. I think it’s a talent evaluation issue. They have brought guys in via drafts and free agency. They’ve just missed more than hit.
  14. Oh I get it. You’re going to see more and more teams sell out to stop the run. Make Allen and the passing game beat them. That’s just a crazy notion with an elite qb. I think this will be KC’s gameplan this weekend. Similar to how they shut down Detroit’s high power offense.
  15. Yes it did. They shut down that high power offense. I don’t get all the comments about blowing out KC. It’s going to be a tough game. Allen needs to ball out.
  16. It was the success they had with this philosophy after they fired Dorsey and elevated Brady. Brady took the ball out of Allen’s hands by leaning on the run and the offense thrived. They continued that last year with even greater success. This is the way according to Brady/McD.
  17. They’re going to sell out to stop the run like how they played Detroit.
  18. Hunt is great for picking up the short yardage stuffs. I don’t think he has the stamina to be featured at this age. That rookie Smith might get more looks. Expect a lot of screens and short routes that would augment the run game.
  19. It could very well unfold this way. My thoughts are the Pats will slip up and Bills overtake them for the division, even with a loss this Sunday. But both are in regardless. My thoughts on Balt have changed. The only way they’d get in is via a massive collapse by Pitt. Either case only 1 team will be from the North. It’s going to be fun watching how things play out. That’s why the NFL is the best sports league.
  20. It’s more than stats. They didn’t have their top guys for all or most of the year. They had to battle every week just to eke out wins. Credit to them that they were able to make it to the Superbowl that way. They’re a lot more full strength this season, especially the offense.
  21. Everyone talked about them during last season like it’s a down year despite the results. I think they have a better team this year regardless of records.
  22. Giving history I’d take my chances with KC over the Jax the rest of the way to make it.
  23. In order for KC to be out of the playoffs you’d have to count on Baltimore coming back and Pitt retreating, but not too much. Then you’d have to count on Jax to outperform KC the rest of the way. I’d take my chances with KC in that scenario. How I see it for the AFC playoffs… Buf and NE in the East Pitt (or Balt but not both) in the North Indy in the South KC, Chargers, Den in the West The only solid detriment for KC losing this Sunday would be out of contention for the #1 seed. If they win this Sunday that’s still in play, no matter how slim.
  24. Because I pay attention to what’s going on in the league.
  25. They held Detroit, consensus top team in the league at that time, to 17 points while scoring 30 on them. I guess in your book that just means they have a pulse. Everybody’s got a take I guess. Yeah they have turned it around. It doesn’t mean Bills can’t win. I actually expect the Bills to win this game at home. It should be a good game.
