  1. So what? How much does Josh Allen make, and how many screw ups did he have this year? What about Stephon Diggs? I could go on and on. And I’m 100% positive that you could go around the league, and on each team, find guys who have had a down year and who are making way more than what “they are worth.” This topic is funny, it really is.
  2. I strongly disagree with the bold words above. Physically, JA certainly is equal to, or maybe even a bit above, Mahomes. But mentally (the mental part of the game such as reading defenses and making the correct decisions with ball placement….some people call these skills the intangibles), he is definitely NOT as talented as Mahomes. JA’s play on the field this past year absolutely proves the latter. Some would say that he has actually regressed in the last couple years. If he was just as talented as Mahomes, 3 weeks ago in the KC game, he would have led the team to a game leading TD on that final drive….but he didn’t. Mahomes pretty much always gets the game winning points, at the end. His playoff record speaks for itself.
  3. Watched the VW commercial this morning. The actors for the "just married" couple near the end of the spot was an interesting choice by VW.
  4. I thought that the Bills are over the cap RIGHT NOW. Do they have $$$ to go after big name/expensive players?
  5. C'mon man, you know darn well that regular season games and playoff games are worlds apart. Those regular season wins mean diddly squat.
  6. I agree with you on JA not having the discipline that PM has, but on attitude, JA is just as good. But certainly this season showed us that JA still has a ways to go re reading defenses and making the right decisions with the ball; anybody who disagrees with this is just lying to themselves. More golf outings will probably make him better though! LOL
  7. Looks like drone Flynearby, not Flyover. LOL
  8. How do you know she’s letting him do her? She is on record as having many “bad” relationships. Maybe this time, she’s keeping the lid on the cookie jar locked until it gets more serious. I know I’m somewhat “poking fun” here, but seriously, why do so many people assume that they are just fornicating like wild animals? Is there any proof to that at all?
  9. Yes, we do, for different things in the community where we actually go hands on, like working at a homeless shelter. We also donate about $10k (total) every December to a bunch of deserving orgs. But the best thing (to me) that we do is occasionally pick up the tabs at a restaurant for random, unsuspecting people, like a young couple, or a single parent with their kids, or a really old couple. It feels really good when you see their faces. We are blessed and fortunate to be able to do all of the above. As they say, you can’t take it with you, and also, when you die, nobody is going to remember how much wealth you had, but plenty of people will remember how you helped them out.
  10. You remember at that time, licenses were just ink jet printed on thick paper (not even as stout as business cards…LOL), and not laminated. Sssssoooo, clever, thirsty young rebels could very carefully use a pencil eraser to change the DOB on your license, and wallah, no waiting til age 18!
  11. Saw him a handful of times in concert, and it was always a great show. Very sad day for country music fans. https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/toby-keith-dies-country-singer-stomach-cancer-rcna137412
  12. Was born in 1960. All I can tell you is that the 70s and 80s were a great time to be growing up. I was recently reminiscing with a childhood friend, and he stated "at the time, we didn’t know how good we had it." He was 100% spot on. Use the Google machine to find more info about the greatness of that time. 😉
  13. Will not be watching. Just don't care, and just can't take any more of the Chiefs, Mahomes, Reid, and #87 & his girlfriend & his family.
  14. This is like when you see some commercial for some newfangled drug on TV, and in the “warning” portion of the spot the voice over guy says “do not take (drug name) if you are allergic to (drug name).” LOL
  15. Honestly, it’s BOTH lack of talent AND average coaching. As has been noted many times, a HS coach could get the Bills to the playoffs with JA17 at QB. I was fooling around on the google machine earlier this week and saw that when Dorsey was a QB at the University of Miami, he set all kinds of school records, and his W-L record over 4 years was 38-2! They won one national championship and came close to a second, but were beat by Ohio State. I did not know all of the latter til this week.
  16. Watched it, and it was definitely a nice editing job, and nicely done. It doesn’t really get in to offering any reasons why Allen (really should be focusing on McDummy more) can't get over the hump, and get to the SB. In here, the posters have offered up many reasons why this is so, while this video just sort of intimates that because of some magic spell Mahomes has, he always beats Allen.
  17. Yes, whenever you disagree with someone's opinion, they must be a troll. 🙄
  18. I think the point he was making was that he thought (as I did) that the Bills were going to keep winding the clock down, and get a TD there, NOT a FG, and leave KC just seconds on the clock, with no timeouts left for them, were they'd have to get the kickoff and go get a TD to win it.
  19. Just rewatching the 4th qtr. of this game....I know, I know, I'm a masochist. LOL - Absolutely NO replays were shown of the Bills fake punt. WTH? - Shakir *could* have caught that long rainbow bomb on 3rd and 12 with 10:50 left, but that would have been a spectacular diving catch - Bills' Defense did step up and play well on the next drive, just before the Bills' O got the ball for the last time - Now that I now what Seven Nation Army is, I see that CBS played it as they went to commercial with 8:23 left. LOL - It looks like Diggs DID see the long bomb in plenty of time, and just plain did not catch it - KC DB Reed went helmet to helmet with a pretty vicious hit on Diggs on an incompletion. Could have easily been called a PF, but wasn’t - Bills were VERY lucky to retain possession when JA fumbled on a 3rd down run with 5:35 left 1st down at the 27 with 3:00 left and clock ticking - Run with Cook up the middle...got 1 yard 2:00 warning - Pass into the EZ for Shakir on 2nd down....Incomplete. I know what was said all last week about Chris Jones pushing Dawkins into JA, but honestly, Dawkins barely touches JA; does not look that minimal contact affected the throw at all. Curious, did JA ever address that throw in his post game presser? - Pass thrown OOB on the right side on 3rd down as coverage was very good and JA rolled to the right side. His best option was across the field on the left side, but he didn’t look that way - Missed FG by Bass - Pacheco runs 2x and gets a 1st down; game over It totally SUCKS that the Bills were right there, but couldn't continue the drive to get the TD.
  20. The seller wanted cash, and also, there have been cases of fake cashiers checks too…Google it. Now, I suppose if we had met at a BofA branch, they could have verified it, but we met at an IHOP in Athens, GA, and I had traveled up there from FL (in car with wife/I drove new bike home).
