  1. Just watched the dramatic opening sequence for this game….they managed to squeeze in TWO shots of the blonde KC fan scarecrow in a suite. Ugh.
  2. We also had a SB party that year, in our basement in Rome, NY. I fully expected the Bills to roll to a victory. I felt that on the last drive, they let off the gas a little, and time management was not great….I feel they could have easily got closer for Norwoods kick. That game affected me more than any other Bills game ever, and I’ve been a fan for 50+ years. But since those 4 SB losses, I don’t let the losses affect me at all….I always set my expectations low, plus, I’m a realist. LOL
  3. So the multi billion dollar organization doesn’t have a webcam up & running, but some tailgaters parking lot across the street does!? And that’s all we got!? Nice. 🙄
  4. The Commanders or Seahawks can have him!
  5. Whether he's a "choker" or not is just semantics. The bottom line is that JA had a perfect opportunity at the end of that game to lead his team to a game leading TD, and he didn’t get it done. One can make all the excuses you want, but he didn’t get it done. My opinion is that a "great" QB gets his team the TD there.....
  6. There only one flaw in your post here...the All-22 reviews have been out since Tuesday...many people have reviews out there, in fact. Other than that, you seem to be spot on!
  7. He’s good, very good, for sure, but not as good as you (and a lot of other people) seem to think. Sure he has the physical tools to be one of the best ever, but the mind/mental part of playing QB is actually more important than the physical tools part. JA is not there yet, and not even close, as we saw him go up and down this year with “stupid mistakes.” We all wondered, even in this forum, whether we’d see “Good Josh” or “Bad Josh” every week. LOL That being said, I don’t think he “threw” the game, I just think he’s got a ways to go before he stops making stupid mistakes, like in this case, not taking a step or two to the right and forward into an open pocket, to ensure a clean throw.
  8. Very sorry to hear this news. I will pray today, and especially so tomorrow morning is His house.
  9. I also will be watching. Would like to see the Ravens win, for sure. No true football fan wants to see one more second of that blonde scarecrow hooting & hollering in a suite, or anybody even talking about her. Plus, besides the scarecrow, unless you’re a Chiefs fan, I would think that no one wants to see them in another SB. 😉
  10. So I guess the jumping into the pit for “good luck” didn’t work last week? LOL
  11. Couple things. Minor point, but the bomb to Diggs was 62 yards in the air (from the 12 yard line to the 26 yard line on the other side of the 50) and aided by the wind too. And I’m still wondering whether Diggs even saw that rainbow bomb, AT NIGHT, in enough time to track it. One of Sherfield’s arms was being held on his bomb, so it was not a “drop”, unless you expected him to make a one hand grab in 20 degree weather.
  12. I'm pretty sure this describes about 75-80% of the posts in this forum.
  13. What about last year vs the Vikings in OT? JA had basically that same exact throw, except it was intended for Davis (and his route took him right to left across the back of the end zone), and the throw was too low and also behind Davis, and it was picked off to end the game. And no one bumped into JA on that throw. There are NO guarantees in NFL football. Shakir still had to have made the catch too. Funny to see folks saying that he made the right decision, even though the end result is that the play failed. Personally, if something fails, I call it the wrong decision. The pass to an open Diggs was the right thing to do.
  14. No he didn’t. Especially because it didn't succeed. Jus like the OP threw out bad things that MAY have happened had they played to run out the clock, I'll throw out that the catch still had to be made. Of course, there is ZERO guarantee of that.
  15. Don't know how much this contributed to the large viewing numbers, but over the last few days I've seen/heard a bunch of non-football types speculate that the largeness of the numbers were because of millions of Taylor Swift fans who were watching just because she was at the game. Sounds crazy to me, but who knows, there are a lot of "Swifty" fans who have the IQ of a rock, so....
  16. This is 100% spot on. They let their foot off the gas at the end, and it cost them, big time. And that loss affected me greatly. I was 30, and had a huge SB party in my basement, in Rome, NY, with a lot of my USAF coworkers. I was expecting a win. Nowadays, I guess with age, we all mellow out and realize there are many more important things in life to get upset about. And of course with this current Bills team, I expect nothing! LOL
  17. On my bucket list is to go one whole day of my life where I only speak or post on social media lyrics from songs. Here's an example: Well you do what you do and you pay for your sins, And there's no such thing as what might have been, That's a waste of time, Drive you out of your mind. - Tim McGraw, from Red Ragtop
  18. Well, obviously, I forgot about that! 🤪
  19. We shall see. Coaching prima donnas in the pros is WAY different than coaching college prima donnas.
  20. Tua. Jerry Jones is cheap. Remember the Ezekiel Elliot episode? LOL
  21. First off, Diggs was one on one, but he was not open when JA made the decision to throw him the ball. Go back and look at the video again. When JA releases the ball, the safety is actually running behind Diggs. Yes, when the ball finally gets there, Diggs is (barely) behind the safety, but the safety is right there, about one foot away. Everybody touts JA as one of the top 3 QBs in the league, so shouldn't his decision-making be better, at this point, what, 5-6 years into his career? Throughout this season we've half-jokingly wondered whether we'd see "Good Josh" or "Bad Josh." Finally, what makes JA different than Tom Brady or Kurt Warner is his running abilty. But JA still has a ways to go before he equals those 2 guys on reading defenses and making the right decision regarding where to throw the ball. The play we're discussing here perfectly illustrates the latter.
  22. I mean, it ain't brain surgery out there. On one play Warner analyzes, Diggs is lined up wide left, and he runs straight up the field for a while, but to the outside of the defender, then he moves toward a post route. Warner said he should have gotten inside of the defender ASAP, and run a true post because the middle of the field was wide open. Does a veteran, #1 receiver need to be taught how to do that?!
  23. I'm gonna go against the grain here....I think he's too old and spent. I don't want him anywhere near OBD. Plus, for God's sake, this man was the face of our mortal enemy for decades! I'd take Vrabel or Harbaugh in a heartbeat, because like so many others in here, I think McD has done all that he can do, and he's never going to get us to the SB.
  24. @Scott7975I just tried to post a freeze frame of that play, showing just as Josh is releasing the ball, but by the time I shrunk the pic to allow it, it was garbage. LOL In any case, just as JA is releasing the ball, Shakir is really wide open, and would have got the pass 20 yards past the LOS, and the nearest guy is 8 yards away......while Diggs is basically covered. The safety is actually running behind Diggs when the ball is released. Again, 62 yards in the air, on a cold & windy NIGHT. As I stated earlier, I'm really curious to know if Diggs even saw the ball early enough to make the catch.
