  1. LOVED Daner!!! Wish we could have kept him but he deserves the payday and we broke. We do have significant holes in our D now though. Lots of work to do...
  2. Enough already wendy!!! My god.. you sound like a baby tool. We need bodies at the WR position - we lost Hines, Harty, Davis and Sherfield. We need depth and low $ guys like this signing. Hollins is actually an OK receiver for this role. Special Teams too which we need help with. I know how you feel - I wish we could just go out and sign Mike Williams or Tee Higgins trade. But we aren't in that position this year. Get with it. And please enlighten all of us with the "useless $2 million signings" you speak of. Do you mean the Daquan, A.J and Dawkins signings?!? As in, spots we need??
  3. He's GREAT depth. Started all 17 games for the Bears and 12 games last season for the Eagles. Plays smart and fast. If Milano isn't ready to go for the first few weeks this season then this is a great pickup.
  4. Matches the Gabe Davis contract. Interesting.
  5. And with all that (which doesn't relate to my post at all) we still scored north of 30 points in our past 2 Playoff games vs KC. Heck, even Miami we scored over 30 in playoffs. Problem is, they do too because our D is swiss cheese. Once we get healthy (fingers crossed) and add a top edge rusher - we should be much better.
  6. Does it though?!? We score points in every KC battle. In fact, we had the chance to kick for the tie last season, we had the lead and blew it in 13 seconds, we have beat them multiple times in their house. How do you explain that? Our offense scores points and in some games with ease. I get what you are saying, a nice shiny WR would be good. But in all honesty, Beane and the boys in teh boardroom are looking at this as a business. Full stop. It's our D that needs help. Not the O. That's what Sean and Brandon preach. This week we will get a pass rusher - big one. It's in the works. WR at 22 or 28 in the draft and cross your fingers he can perform. This season was never going to be our SB...
  7. We are re-signing our guys which is good. But we haven't moved the needle at all. If we are living on "hope" that we draft good players that will make an impact I fear we are all in for a long season. For me, I expected a tough season coming up anyway. Lot's of chatter last year about our "window closing". I do think it is true and it's closing fast - kinda like the Bengals. Unless Beane works some magic we are in a tough spot. Oh nooo I hope they don't fart.
  8. This one hurts - Floyd was a beast. 10 sacks? or more? Anyway, he will be missed. We are losing a lot of good players! Floyd Morse. Davis. (Hurts more than people know). Poyer/Hyde combine as 1 for me. Hope Beane has a plan and acts fast. If you think the draft is gonna hit on filling these spots you are on glue.
  9. That would be great! draft one in the second round too as our first pick is D so we can actually stop another offense when it counts.
  10. He actually had a pretty decent year last season. The NY Bills
  11. Nope - you are the majority. White sucked. Most overrated CB in the AFC.
  12. Ridley will be too much $$$ I think. But he would be amazing on this team. Mooney or Samuel would be OK too. Yep - me too! Then we could focus on D in the draft.
  13. Lots of teams getting better! fast. Makes you wonder if Beaner can hit at the batting cage. LOL
  14. Heck - still no AFC Champion T-shirt. I own 4. Need a 5th.
  15. That's a cool story if true about his wife. makes me think: "Hmmmm" ya never know.
  16. Me too. I agree 100%. This isn't good. het @Alphadawg... looksy. It's real yo. or wherever he lands stacks up and needs one. You don't sayyyyy?
  17. Oh man - Tee Higgins requests trade: TO THE BILLS!!!! Oh wow. get er done Beaner!!! Gonna eat Beans
  18. Neither - it was JA17. They don't "click" off the field. Gabe is a great WR and we will miss him. It just so happens that we didn't use him the way we drew it up. Even Brady had him open on too many occasions and Josh looked the other way. Good luck to Gabe - I hope he finds success in Duval with Goldie Locks. We sure didn't use him the way we should have.
  19. Because we are the team that will/was taking a WR at 28. It's simple math but you seem to not understand. The Bengals pick ahead of us. Correct?? yes. The Bengals (if they keep Higgins) most likely won't pick a WR ahead of us, correct?? yes. If Higgins gets traded the Bengals chances of picking a WR ahead of us goes up, correct??? yes. So let me see... ummm X-1 WR ahead of us... that means there is one less WR available for us at 28 because the ummmm Bengals picked one. There you go. Bingo, Bongo.
  20. Ummm wha???!? The Bengals will take a WR in round 1 now for sure. That's the Bingo, bongo.
  21. Wow - Big $!! But he is a stud.
  22. Great move for the Steelers. Russ showed flashes last season. If the Steelers line is better than Denvers - Russ can cook still. It will be interesting to watch what they do in the draft. For me, the Steelers just got much better.
  23. Bills and Bosa are a very real deal. Von re-negged his contract specifically for an opportunity like this. Mack and Bosa (either) are what this D needs along with a stud CB. Bosa is still young. Get er done beaner!
  24. 100% right move. Douglas can play and he plays tough! White, when healthy, doesn't know what tough is.
