True - but you got it wrong. Kincaid is #1, Shakir and Samuel distributed #2, Know #3 and new raw project WR #3.1 But at least our D will be able stay healthy by having GREAT depth for once.

Bills stay put at 28, pick a good DE BPA. Bills fans whine and cry. TRUE Bills fans are happy AF!
-
Finally, someone who actually understands football and what we already have on our roster. Build the D on Thursday. Can't wait!

I actually love it and think it is bang on what Beane will do. Defense is the goal boys.. like it or not. We need to stop the other teams for once. we had the 6th highest scoring offense last year. Not an issue.

Will we be in Super Bowl contention this year?
Dillenger4 replied to bills6969's topic in The Stadium Wall
Do you watch the Bills games?!? We were the 6th highest scoring offense in the league last year. The offense is not the issue. Fairweather TV fans may think so but that is not the case. That was with an inept OC for half of the season. That being said, the Chiefs were the 15th ranked scoring offense. But their D was stout and played excellent when it mattered. Now we had injuries... but adding good depth to our D this season, which was decimated during the off season, is priority. Watch Thursday... you may learn something. -

Oh great - so Josh can over/underthrow them? That is so NOT what the Bills do. It's not what Josh is good at. He doesn't have a touch pass in him which you need for the long ball. Tua does. Texans QB does. Josh does not. We are not a long ball team. Brady is a pound and short-pass scheme OC. please stop copy/paste your drivel. -

Because we can't stop a legit offense for the past 5 seasons. Is that good enough for you? Fix the D in this draft and we might have a shot. -
Pegulas selling 25% of the Bills, per Tim Graham
Dillenger4 replied to Roundybout's topic in The Stadium Wall
And here come Rogers Canada. 25%, with value stock... not a great scenario for The Bills. -
You can sit and do this all day - take Beanes comments any way you like. I for one believe him 100% - Defense will be the pick this draft. When he says "young guys on roster" he is referring to the WR's you mention (good write up btw!) but he is also talking about Shakir, Kincaid and Cook without a doubt. Add in Knox who, last time I looked, is still on the roster. Now we have some weapons! Add Samuel...pretty good looking list. Add a rookie in round 3 of the draft or round 2 and voila.

Beane and every GM may sound forthcoming and honest - but this is a business. Believe it when I see it mentality should be ruled. I do not think he is moving up, unless it is to 19 at highest. I think we stay put at 28 and take best DE/DT possible. Then we take a WR in 2nd or a Safety if one of the top guys is there. Lame you say? Just watch. We win by building the D and especially the D line. We desperately need a pass rush.

I agree with you 100%!

Which player is the draft community too low on?
Dillenger4 replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall
Latu - he should be top 10. If he falls to 15-18 we move up. Boom -
Thanks for the reply. Good info. Not sure if you realized but you supported my comment. Rashee Rice was taken in the second round, pick 55 overall. KC in no way expected him to be, as you say< a WR1. But he did have a good season in 2023 because of Mahomes and a good OC Scheme. I agree with you in that he is good. My overall point is we don't need to move up in the draft for a WR at all. In fact, I believe the Bills will move up, if at all, for Latu if he falls. Otherwise, we stand at 28 and take BPA. Our WR "WR1" will come in the form of an additional rookie and our current group ALL performing as a great unit. If our D can be added to we can win more games especially in the playoffs.
-
The OP is bang on! We don't need elite WR's. We actually have a bunch of dudes that can catch the ball: Shakir, Kincaid, Samuel and Knox to name a few. You mention KC has Toney/Moore/Rice. They are NOT elite WR's. Toney is quite low-end actually. Bills are not moving up to get a WR. If anything, we move up for Latu!
-
Actually has a good mock. Only thing is Latu... Beane will jump up to 20 to get him. Fingers crossed! Oduzne is trouble. We just dumped Diggs now another in Odunze? No thanks. They call him O'dunse for a reason.

interesting WR scenario posed by a friend
Dillenger4 replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
This actuallyh makes sense in the realm of possibility. But why does everyone on here think we are going to pick multiple WR's early? Heck, I'm shocked if we take one at 28 over a DE which is what we need the MOST! Beane get's Ayouk and our draft is studs on D. SB baby! Yes, many. Just research it. Watch the NFL stream on twitch. Schrager said it on Friday too. Follow him on X. It's out there... rumours of course at this point but where theres smoke.... -

I like your enthusiasm, but this post is utter fantasy if anything. Aiyuk is a real possibility - but that has already been reported at two second round pix which we do have. Moving up in the draft? Not happening the way you have it posted. No chance. As of this morning the Bills are 1 of 2 teams in on the Aiyouk signing. Time will tell if this is real. if anything, our move up is for Latu if he falls to 18/20. beane will pounce on him. -
Impact Players and the case for doing whatever it takes at WR1
Dillenger4 replied to SCBills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Absolutely and so would Ayouk. You can get Ayouk for two second picks thus keeping our #28 this year. -

Go get Ayouk. You know what you are getting. Move up a few spots and get Latu. Boom - this team would be set. Now we need Von to be better (not great) but better, Milano to be recovered, DQJ to have an impactful season and Curtis Samuel and Ty Johnson to have good seasons. Then - Brady to scheme it all on O the way we know he should. Then Cook and Allen cook it up. Kincaid, Knox, Rasul, Bernard. BOOM baby. Only 2 new names listed above. And this is a powerhouse. Hearing Beane and SF are in talks anyway... its moving. -
Good points. I am dreaming about an Ayouk trade. I think JJ is way too far fetched for our current position but it would be ideal. Realistically speaking, I think Beane moves on one of the 2 following scenarios: 1) OBJ - he had 550yds and 3 TD's last season with Balt. Some good catches over 40 yds and a lot of 20 yard catches as an average. 1-year deal to keep the boat-a-float sorta speak. Wouldn't cost a lot. 2) Ayouk from SF. Get him for one of next years #2 and #5? He woudl fill the #1 requirement perfect. Either scenario allows us to keep our drafy and fill the holes we need.
-
This is the truth. It will be an OBJ type signing for 1-year, cheapish and we keep our draft. Or, at most - Ayouk and we keep most of our draft.
-
Does Beane have a trade with Schoen Lined Up???
Dillenger4 replied to cbatl32's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just stop with the "move up to 6" or even top ten. We have way too many holes to fill and beaner won't waste all our picks for a rookie WR. There were 4 WR's taken in the 1st round last year: 900 yards 800yards 600 yards 400 yards. Good numbers, but not trading my whole draft for that.- 77 replies

How would you construct the 2024 Bills WR Room?
Dillenger4 replied to Kirby Jackson's topic in The Stadium Wall
They are talking about in right now on NFLN, saying Ayouk camp is interested and his "deal" is more palliative than people think. This goes down by tomorrow. Go Beaner!
