I watched Trent for years here in Tampa. Early in his career he spent more time working on his golf game than he did football. If he had JP's work ethic he would have had a great career. Still he is a likeable guy, I'm sorry for his loss. I'm glad he turned his life around and think he will do a great job for the Browns.

I agree with you. Rusty did a great job, but Mike knew Brad from his days in Tampa. Brad did a great job in Tampa, but lost his job when Gruden brought in his boy from Oakland.

I agree about the schedule being tough. I also agree about Houston but I think the Bills can win that game because it is the opener & at home (the 12th man will play a part). I see JP improving as the season progresses 9-7 or 8-8 0r 11-5 depends on JP & the O-line

The Fins will suck this year - no QB, no o-line, an old D which they are totally changing from a 4-3 to a 3-4. The Jets have a QB who is coming off serious injury-has not played a full season yet -is learning a new offense which features more throws downfield (with a bad arm). The Pats lost both O & D coaches. The Bills got Brad Roll to replace Rusty. He was with the Bucs a long time, including the Super Bowl year and is a good man. The Bucs have had very few injuries over the years.

The difference is Jonas was free to sign with anyone. If we can't get Nate to agree to a contract, you can bet the farm he will be tagged. If we don't keep him, we will get something for him ala P Price.

I'm with you. It is hard to get yac yards when the ball is thrown behind you, at shoe high level or over your head,or with 2 defenders all over you - Drew hung EMO out to dry more times than I care to remember.

I agree with you, as long as the QB does not lose games for you by turning the ball over as Bledsoe did, a team can go far. Balt won with Dilfer & the Bucs won with Johnson. How many superbowls did Marino win? Will P Manning ever even make it to the big dance?

Jax is a good team. I don't think they are any better than the Bills. He can't go to Jax this year unless they make it worth our while to trade him to them. The Bills hold all the cards. As far as taxes, as long as he has a legal primary residence in Fla I don't think he has to pay state taxes in another state. ( I could be wrong about that - any tax lawyers on board?)

The reason we did not go to the Superbowl was because Flutie was benched for the Playoff game. Even so it we were robbed by homerun throw forward. If you could not see the O line looked better with Flutie under center you are blind.

I think you are dead on with TD's thought process. I think we may still pick up someone if they are not happy with what we have come July or August.

Moulds pulled his groin early on, and even though he played he could not run like the EMO we know. That is the main reason for the decline in the O (not the only one for sure). I still maintain his injury was a bigger factor than the loss off PP & others for the Bills collapse.

The main thing that hurt the Bills a couple years ago was not losing those players, it was Moulds getting hurt. He was not healthy all year.

I don't get all the hate for Lindell. He is not great, but I don't, think he is as bad as most of you do either.

I disagree with you. I don't see him getting any better, but I do see him getting injured more often & missing more time with each season that goes by.

I'm with you. Thank God TD is our GM, not some of the Jokers on this board. I swear some of them must really be Pats or Fins fans.

The NFL wants a team in L.A. but I don't think they want an existing team to move there. So much nicer to charge BIG $ to some fool. The owners can split the $ among themselves rather than let one take the market for free.

You are correct, the Fins drafted Brown not Benson.

I think that is TD's plan, he has said it all along, unless he gets a 3rd we keep Henry. His $1.2 for the year is only a good deal for the Bills. Any team looking to trade for Henry will want him to sign a new contract. Why trade for a player only to lose him next year?

He won't get traded for less than a third. If TD does not get value, he will keep Henry for back up, and take the draft pick we will get from the NFL for losing Henry next year.
