You hit the nail on the head. I think TD did pretty well in evaluating player talent, but sucked when it came to picking a coach. I think that was TD's downfall.

Most teams have a large number of tickets bought by corporations, hence the empty seats you see in Miami. Don't lump Tampa in with Miami though. In spite of a terrable year - due to injuries, all the seats are filled in Tampa.

If the local channel shows a game it is blacked out period. I am considered to be in the Tampa market even though I live closer to Ft Myers. If a game is shown on a Tampa station it is blacked out on my ticket even though I can not pick the station from Tampa up over the air.

I'll tell you what Drew could have done to handle his situations better. He could have treated his job as a 12 month per year full time job, not an 8 month part time job. Drew is the classic case of a guy with a God given gift, but no work ethic. If he had worked at honing his craft, he would have been a sure HOF player, I guess 4 months a year free in Montana & Washington were more important to him than the HOF.

I think this will be an exciting off season, as we watch Marv work his magic. NC is definately playing for the big $ next year, the question is if he wants to stay here or not. I hope he is happy with this team and wants to stay.

I am in total agreement with you,provided they get him some line help next year. If the line still sucks, then I say let him play untill we get a decent Oline.

Oh really? Most people had us pegged to win 3-4 games this year, only us optimists thought we could win more than 6 games.Go back and read the threads.This team is be better than last years, even if they do not win another game. They at least have leadership & direction now, along with many young players who will only get better with experience.

Booger is a decent player when healthy. He isn't healthy all that often. He is set to earn way to much $ on a contract he signed while Rich McKay was GM of the Bucs. The Colts over paid for him (in my opinion) with a #2 draft pick & the contract he carries (maybe they can get him to renegotiate). I also think the Colts window is closing as someone else posted and that is why they overpaid.

I liked and defended TD. He made some great player moves (with the exception of Fat Mike). His downfall was he did not know a good coach from a bad one.

The Bills had many holes to fill this year,I think Marve did a good job this offseason. The O-line will continue to improve this year with coaching & continuity, If not then Marve will adress it next offseason.

I think after next weeks games we will know the answer to that question. Fins fans were sold a BILL if goods that there team was a potential Super Bowl contender by the media, and that the Bills were a pile of dung. In reality the Fins have 1) A TERRIBLE O-line B) Meathead as OC 3) A terrible secondary, can't expect to win much with all those problems.

Given the relationship between Marv & Polian, I could see a trade happening. All things being = (draft pick wise), I think they would rather have Volik than Holcomb.

You should have asked for 21 - he probably would have given it to you. I listened to a Pats podcast to see what they are thinking about this game. They think the Pats are going to win 45 - 10. If the Bills only win 4 games this year I hope 2 are against the Pats & 2 against the Fins.

Gruden likes him, but he is the#3 TE on the team.

There are two other factors to consider. The first is coaching, Houck the Fins line coach is supposed to be Very good. The second is blocking scheams ( the reason Denver always rushes so well). We shall soon see if Bennie is the worthless piece of crap we all think he is or not.

Davin Joseph was by far the best guard in the draft. The Bucs are a solid team with the O-line the only area in need of an upgrade. The Bucs did not have any tackle on board as a first rounder after D'Brick. I think Jon Gruden knows a little more than you. You would take a tackle who is not worthy of a first round pick ( Mike Williams), or another player at another position the Bucs don't need and let him sit on the bench, rather than upgrading your O-line? If you watched the Bills at all last year you should know how important the interior of the line is. I guess you are a TD fan ( lets build the O-line with castoffs, 6th round picks, and overrated fat slobs). That works real well.

The Bills need a guard to replace Villarrial, & Reyes. Tampa used a first round pick this year to get Davin Joseph.

I think their fate will be be determined by their kicker. Vinateri won MANY BIG Games for the Pats, and they replaced him with who? And people talk about the ? on the Bills.
