ATL went from 16 to 29 & got an extra 3rd & 4th. I think if we move from 8 to 15 we get at least a #2 & 3 also, otherwise why trade down that far?

Thats right, there were no games between the NFL and AFL except the Superbowl & Probowl. Those probowls were games to watch as they meant something to the players, especially the AFL guys. It wasn't untill the AFL morphed into the AFC that there were regular season games played between the two conferences. My opinion is they would have been better off to leave the AFL intact, as the NL & AL are in baseball. The Superbowl & probowl would have a lot more meaning than they do today.

It made sense to pick Willis with the #1 because the pick (from Atl for PP) was like found money worth a gamble. If it didn't pan out you lost something you did not expect to have in the first place. He still got the player they targeted with the 2nd Rd pick. I would not be upset if they pick Cutler if they think that is the way to go.

I have watched Haslett as a coach more than most of you being a Tampa Bay Fan. He may not be a great coach, but he is very good. His teams are tough, never Quit, and won many close games (Trust me as a Bucs fan on this). You are right about the poor drafting of the Saints they have a verry bad front office, and Hasslet had no say in personel. I would compare Hasslett to Herm Edwards, he is a great motivator and his players love him.

The sadest thing is the head of the NFL officials comes on NFL network every week to try and explain away all the BS calls. If you go to hell for lying he's in.

While he has not hired a black GM or coach the Bills were one of the first teams to have a black QB, and not just one - Marlin Brisco, and James Harris!
