  1. Tua is a very good QB and I have stated this before. However, he is not a great QB and his problem is HE ABSOLUTELY POSITIVELY NEEDS THE SUPPORTING CAST. This is NOT a QB who can do it on his own.
  2. If so better they do it quickly so they can get Jimmy "Gene Hackman" McGinty in here, pronto. You gotta have heart...miles and miles of heart to make a run at The Show.
  3. Three hommies. I'll take that and see where the cards may fall by the third one. Go Bills.
  4. I believe he may settle in under 50 million. Maybe around where Josh is at 45, with some incentives.
  5. Weak thread. 2 pages and not one post about what Daquan Jones thinks about stuff like food and politics.
  6. May you live to be a thousand years old, my friend. We beat the Appledorns this weekend, we beat Miami.
  7. Hear you again and good post, Beck. I don’t put the Eagles game on because there was better semblance of the passing game. Right now our passing game looks like Rain Man had a baby with Sybil and named it Mr. Magoo. Not just an Allen thing, but Allen, Brady, Diggs and the others. Something is wrong, but even in a loss to the Eagles it was working and in terrible conditions. 1 game is meh. 2 is a little bit of a trend. This run has been going on primary during the last bit, albeit we’ve been winning.
  8. Why in the world did you leave out the WR screen for 2-3 yards.
  9. Beck, I don’t disagree with you, but you are going back to a time (Eagles) that isn’t part of this. i am one of those guys that so very rarely puts a loss on Josh. I also think you mistook my comment for Josh is the problem. No, it’s the team and it is the identity, but also it is what you can rely upon. Even in losing (KC-13 seconds, Eagles, etc.) you know what you have and you know what you can count on if something goes awry. It is just unclear right now. It is frustrating to watch a team like Cleveland have a 38 old man come in off the street after doing daddy duty and make passing look so easy…AGAIN, this is not a Josh comparison but an overall team, or rather offensive identity thing. I’m one of the guys who started the never lose again threads, because it was the way. They are one game away from doing it to lock up the #2 seed and I am so proud of them. However, there are issues. Go Bills.
  10. I read this and a little bit of pee came out.
  11. because we struggle in the most important area of current football and it used to make us feel so good. Like no matter who we played we could beat anybody. because we are not the shinny new thing around that everyone is fired up about. because we win…but we don’t convince.
  12. And all of the above, Hap, is going on in real time and is happening in their heads. Just thinking about the passing game has the whole offense in fetal positions on the floor in their minds with their fingers in the ears going “na-na-na-na-na-na-na.” They need to shake it the hell off, do something different through the air or go slump busting. and soon.
  13. I absolutely hear you, Ace. However, I believe more so that if you believe you are a champion then you beat the **** out of teams that are pissed off.
  14. Do or die, every Sunday since the start of December. I am up for a similar January with a one week pause afterwards to prep for the Super Bowl. Go Bills.
  15. Sigh…well there it is. What some of us clung to a month ago, as crazy as it seemed, came to fruition whatever you may think of how they got here. Now they need to prove once again for what hopefully will be the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th time play this thing out one week at a time. Go Bills.
  16. Something should have been done. Honestly, you can get into what would look like a serious scrum to show your displeasure and avoid any serious ramifications. Chest bumping, shoving and the like. However, swinging and hitting...man, that potentially comes out of their pocket and possibly other consequences. Don't hang with them anymore, JGM. You walk with us you walk tall. We got your back and if things go sideways I will be right there behind you and @NoHuddleKelly12 .
  17. For two straight years, because didn’t we lose Tre the year before against New Orleans during the evening Thanksgiving game?
  18. I don’t understand it. I just don’t. How so many teams can have offenses that just protect their QB and then throw dimes over the middle 20 yards up the field like it was nothing. Does no one notice how we struggle at this lately? I am not talking about Josh saves by the skin of his teeth plays. I’m talking mundane, efficient, medium range passing that teams seem to do so easily.
  19. @Wizard Honestly, Wizard, I don't think your list is a bad list, at all. Sure, people might disagree, but there is nothing to mock in what you have. My only change, for argument sake, would be switching out Dak for Purdy. That is not a knock on Dak, but just giving a little more credit to Purdy. Yes, I know the skill position talent SF has, plus they have Shanny, but still. I will say the Baltimore game took him right out of the picture for the top spot. Regardless of any other candidates shortcomings "recency and primacy" still matter. EDIT: One more add, if Josh goes off for 4-5 this weekend (3-4 pass, 1 rush) against the Pats D, I believe he is absolutely back in the picture for the top spot. If He finishes with 48 in any fashion, but preferably 30+ passing and 15+ rushing and also clinches the #2 seed. Wow...he has a strong argument.
  20. Anyways, New England has been playing teams tough, regardless of their record, and as the saying goes “this is their Super Bowl” so the Bills have to show up again as they have on this so far three game run.* (* Truthfully 5 game run as I include Brady first game/win and even a pretty good performance against the Eagles.)
  21. Thanks, Greg, I caught it just after I wrote it and corrected it, hoping before anyone quoted it. I knew right away. @Gregg 11th, gentlemen. We were 11th in the AFC 3 weeks ago. This is crazy and this is joyous. Happy Holidays.
  22. Bills win, Seahawks over Steelers and a Bengals loss to Chiefs, I believe.
