  1. Many teams lose 3 guys since the final preseason game that the guys either didn't play in or didn't get hurt in. That bottom 3 rating in the NFL for training staff and facilities we saw last week kind of checks out right about now. FFS this is ridiculous and you can't even remotely argue otherwise.
  2. DD, please. That is why I want to vomit even just thinking about losing this game. I’d give my left nut to win this one, and my left nut is my favorite.
  3. I love the Bills. The Bills forever. Long live the Bills. …but man this one feels like an L. Namely for 2 reasons: We’ve started slowly every year this decade, except for the Rams game, and This D smells so much like a late January Bills D…3 Dlinemen down, we don’t know who one of the starting CBs is, and our safeties are playing together against live ammo for the first time in awhile. I hope I am wrong. Go Bills!
  4. Absolutely, positively couldn't agree more. Hell, I want Shavers suited up for game day more than I want Samuel, but maybe that is just me and it is not likely to happen.
  5. The Bulls defense deserved better than last night, Promo. Not to rag, but they deserved so very much more than what their offense was able to do. If Pete had last year's O? Oh man, are you kidding me for 2025?! Go Bills, Go Bulls!
  6. Thank you, Promo. I'm with you. Man, I want that helmet. Additionally, I am surprised you didn't do a UB Bulls comment! Go Bills, Go Bulls!
  7. You are not wrong, Simon, and I will die on that hill with you. ...unless your wife is down the hill staring at us. Then I will step back behind you and do the by-my-head circular finger "crazy" signal to her. I can only take my wife being mad at me. Two is too many.
  8. I don't get it, Promo. I just don't. How many times have we talked about this guy in our Bulls discussions? Not only did he make the Rams, apparently he wasn't even remotely in danger of NOT making the team...as a rookie free agent, which he never should have been. They loved him in training camp and they loved him in the preseason. Utterly crazy to think that there might be four former Bull LBs playing in the league in 2026 when Murdock comes out next year.
  9. "Two years in after drafting Boogie and you will forget who even Creed Humphrey is." Said nobody. Ever.
  10. Just a side note... From 1990 to 1993 the Bills finished the regular season as the #1 team in the NFL only once, in 1993. Although they also beat the Cowboys in the '93 regular season, they also essentially finished tied with them at 12-4. I hate that we lost four straight Super Bowls, however, I am proud of what those Bills teams did. I respect the heck out of Philip Rivers...but I don't want Josh to have that similar noose hanging around his neck. Go Bills
  11. What I always loved about HK was the personal stories and the guys on the fringe fighting to make the team. I love watching my Bills, but they aren't really showing anything at stake...yet.
  12. Warrior, believe last year's oline was the best oline Josh has had as a Bill, and it showed. That protection and that blocking was the tide, besides Josh, that raises all ships. We had a lot of turnovers on defense, but had a Dickens of a time getting off the field on third downs. Josh's O, with that line, made up for a lot. My understanding was the larger, albeit not much larger, guaranteed money has the greater effect on other contracts than the APY. However, YD, I am a novice at best so that really isn't in my wheelhouse of understanding.
  13. Why? Honestly, I don’t know. I haven’t been listening to him talk about this.
  14. Glad he is in. would have preferred the 3 yrs 36, 24 guar. Just hope they have room for McGovern and Torrence next year.
  15. I checked the calendar and I can say with quite certainty it has been about 3 years since the debut of episode one. Hard Knocks should be everyday at about 10 pm.
  16. I can't say I have read everything in this thread, but rarely have we been so thoughtful, versed and reasoned to a man in a single thread as we have been with this one. Everyone has made strong points and, forgive me for broad generalization, the suggested sweet spot seems to be between $11 million to $12.5 million per at max, and in a 3-4 year deal with more than half ($25 million?) guaranteed. I'm not saying the Bills are offering that, but if they were and Cook still doesn't sign I am not sure how we crack the armadillo after this to get both sides on the same page, I really don't. Go Bills
  17. Previously I had said low end 10 million per, 12 million per max. Honestly, this morning on the way into work I thought 3 years, $36 million, $24 million guaranteed. So, this contract is good news to that end. ...but nothing higher. I love Cook, but nothing more.
  18. I get sad at these and then I get angry. I know this is life, and this is the ultimate end, but... ...it is just wrong and it really bothers me. My condolences to the family.
  19. I hear you, Doc, but I am not really commenting about him, more so what happens when these guys become available. or at least how it seems.
  20. Christian Wilkins likely about to put ink to paper as either a Raven or a Chief because that is just the way it goes. ...even if he ends up getting bigger offers from the NFC.
  21. If it is a blue and an ice or silver I am going to be so all over this like flies on **** or me on a plate of pasta. Winter is coming and the North remembers.
  22. It worked out so well for the NFL and EA Tiburon / Madden, as well. This is an absolute Deucenburg Suck-A-Thon.
  23. I don't understand, Jokeman. The world wide leader in slash and burn. The Titanic of sinking sports ships. The very guys who can't keep pee (and other stains) off the front of their pants, and coffee stains off their ties...are buying the NFL Network, and somebody in charge at NFL Media is OK with this?!
  24. Oh they will **** that up to be sure.
  25. Sweet. I can't wait for Josh to take 3 snaps under center with the Reddy on, including a 5 yard swing out pass. Everyone wants to see Mitch do 60 downs with that bad boy on his dome, along with 50% of the 2s ad 3s, on the final game of the season. Oh well, it will be good to see it again. Go Bills.
