  1. @NoHuddleKelly12 Guns, I agree and no lie I am down with not only flag football, but Olympic flag football. Huds knows my one and only angle was to please him comedically with my response. Hell, I will watch almost anything if it is competitive and played by people who know what they are doing. Do a search for videos of pro dart tournaments. Holy mackerel it’s nuts. Good stuff. And yeah, it is very different and I am not sure how much nfl guys actually add, if anything.
  2. It boggles my mind to imagine Josh Allen playing behind Will Wolford, Jim Ritcher, Kent Hull, John Davis and Howard Ballard. it would be “Josh Allen: The Record Mutilator.”
  3. In my hometown we had flag pediatricians. "Hold up, hold up, hold up! I know you're supposed to be the pro here, but 'drop your head and cough' just doesn't seem to be accurate, my Dude...and you're tryin to take notes with a thermometer...uh-oh...oh boy."
  4. Seven years here. Him and Poyer and although I hope this isn't the case they may walk out of here without even a super bowl appearance. That's what possibly stinks. That's what doesn't seem right.
  5. Sure, but that seems to be the standard bearer for career charting against another coach. Truthfully, I don’t even know if there is anyone that has played him five times even has a winning record against him. Could still state he is one of the future coaches with a winning record against him, counting out those that have played him nay a couple of times.
  6. You know what's cool? Sweep the Pats this season and McD becomes the first and only coach in NFL history to have a winning record against BB in 10 or more games (8-7). Josh is already 6-5* against him in starts. (* 6-4 in games he has started and finished)
  7. Please forgive me, B-Dubs, but I believe you have misspelled, "Bill Belicheck is aware that we have two agile, fast and bright linebackers who have clearly learned how to swim and whom Bills fans now refer to as The Swarm." It happens. Go Bills!
  8. BTW, Robert Woods is a really good example of a good to actually great #2. Almost never the #1, but just extremely dependable and trustworthy. I loved him here as the 2 even when our offense was sputtering.
  9. 3rd round compensatory pick to the Patriots.
  10. D) A and C ( I had to add that because you only allowed for 1 of the following to be true. 😁) Sometimes Josh trusts throwing to others almost to a fault. On top of that if he only trusted DIggs then Diggs honestly would have 10 or so grabs every game. A) isn't all Dorsey, because Josh probably (maybe?) needs to see things a little better, but some of that is up to Dorsey to help him and his receivers.
  11. I didn't say Lofton was a number 1 anywhere or at anytime in my post. I said he was a future Hall of Famer. More specifically, even as you stated, he was a #2. Yes. And that is what we are looking for.
  12. PB, come on brother. You know...YOU KNOW that would be just a whole other thread! 😂 I absolutely agree, my friend. In a perfect world should DK Metcalf be on this team, taking the draft spot of Cody Ford in that draft, and retaining Wyatt Teller? Yeah, but the world is not perfect.
  13. Yeah on this, too. Here's the thing, as well, if someone came to me if I were the GM and said, "Would you trade Allen for Mahomes, straight up?" I would honestly say "No" and that would be for various reasons. However, I would immediately follow it up with (and I love, Josh) "Give me Mahomes and Andy Reid and I will sign the paperwork right now."
  14. BT, I did not hate your first post to me. I was just responding to it. However, your post above? I agree. Really good post. Not even going to comment other than that because you already stated it.
  15. Thanks, BT, because essentially you're agreeing with me. You're just comfortable with explaining it away as not being feasible. Me...I'd like to be in the 10%. I don't want my team to be the standard. I want them to be the exception, or at least see what the air is like over there to judge and not potentially waste a generational talent at QB. You see I lived through a time that was pretty successful with this team when there were two future Hall of Famers at WR. Those Bills apologize to you, wholeheartedly, for not being standard.
  16. Gabe Davis' success isn't solely, but in my opinion is primarily, based on two things: teams forgetting about him on a play, and/or teams not really concerned about him on a play. In his career he has made a couple of ridiculous...and I mean RIDICULOUS toe-drag-swag receptions, but it is not the norm. The same goes for his success or lack there of on contested passes or getting open. What do I want or what am I looking for even just in a #2 receiver? Two things: Does the # 2 concern the Defense enough that they have to specifically plan for him, potentially causing decision issues on D between the 1 and the 2, and secondly if the #1 (heaven forbid) goes down for a period of time can you count on the #2 to be the Man? So, respectfully, if you are sitting there thinking in all honesty, "Oh man, what is that D going to do?! They have to worry about Diggs AND Davis!" or knock on wood you find yourself saying in the future, "OK, Gabe, This is you. The rock is yours, take us up. You can do it!", then there is nothing to worry about and we are all set.* (* If you think this you are the first person on planet earth who has thought this, or you are lying, because nobody has thought this before and no one believes it. Doesn't mean I don't like him. I just don't agree with attributes or laurels that are being thrown his way as a 2, or at one point in time people thought of as 1B.)
  17. Thank you. You are wise and complex, Ridge. Do you have any problem if I potentially follow you around carrying booze? I will be back a bit and off to the side so you don't always have to explain it to people. DM me.
  18. I decided during the later half of the preseason that I will follow Latavius Murray into the four corners of hell carrying a six pack if he asks it of me. There has been no call yet, but I have a six pack in the fridge ready to go. ...it is Yuengling, btw. Go Bills!
  19. There once a team called the Patriots Who were as trustworthy as Judas Iscariot They lied and they lied, As they tried and they tried Hoping to get Bayless to parrot it.
  20. I hate all you guys. 3 years ago when I wanted to do this, to add to the Haku's with the another divisional rival, other than my attempt it was crickets from you guys. Yes, the style of poem I picked was Villanelle which consists of 19 lines lines, in the form of five tercets and a closing quatrain, wherein the tercets follow the rhyme scheme ABA, while the quatrain’s rhyme scheme is ABAA and has the first line repeating in lines 6, 12, and 18 of the poem, while the third line repeats in lines 9, 15, and 19. It would have been fun and merriment for all, but nooooooo, that's too much for all of you guys. You all want to stick with your "roses are red, violets are blue, those are the Bills' colors and I like them too!" garbage. Fine. I guess the answer to the eternal Martini Ranch (RIP, Bill) question "How Can The Laboring Man Find Time For Self-Culture?" is most assuredly NOT TSW.
  21. This is all just silly speculation when all we have to do is pick up the phone, call Terry and just ask him if this is possibly on the table. That and since we have him on the phone if there is any swag laying around he wouldn't mind parting with.
  22. I'll tell you what, I know I am getting ahead of myself here on the schedule, but after three straight tough games wherein we lost two of them I truly want to beat the living p***, I mean the absolutely living p*** out of the Jets. Tired of them. Enough.
  23. Yeah, get to 6-2 before the bengals game and then take a look around to see what is going on. beating the bengals, in Cincy, which is still a tall order would get us back on track to where I thought we’d be after 9. I just thought they would likely be 7-2 then.
