  1. I think this should be a reoccurring pinned thread, good or bad. I am serious. I usually check out where the Bills are, stat wise, on Sunday evening or Monday morning. It would be very convenient if someone kept up with this weekly. ...and it would be even better if it wasn't me.
  2. I believe I agree with you. Man, matty, can you imagine if we had the same guy we had during his contract year? I am not saying I would be "optimistic" for this team's chances this year, but let's say I would be more optimistic than I am right now.
  3. OK. Which one of us is going to sit down and have a talk with Dareus about....ya know...trying. I will say this about the man, when he is on and he is up he is one of those who raises everyone around him up. If we had the Dareus from his banner year, oh man, look out.
  4. "Knock-knock." "Who's there?" "0-1" "Oh, hi Tom."
  5. Actually, it is too early to speculate. It just doesn't make mudge difference now. Man, I hate New England. Man, I'm loving this.
  6. THIS IS 40!!! Hey first place, we'll see you on Sunday night...no, no. No one else, just us. Bills, table for one.
  7. Not so bad when we are in sole possession of first place on Sunday night.
  8. Indeed. So happy I could cry.
  9. I guess 14 million dollars gets you shuffling of feet and grabs for excuses on 70 plus yard TDs. Edit: oh, and what is getting left out is that he is generally average in zone coverage.
  10. LeSean McCoy Look, I don't think the Bills are doing too much this year. With everyone mostly healthy I'm thinking between 5-11 and 7-9. That said, and even if you put everything else aside including a seemingly improved D and and at least competent QB in TT, I just don't know how you can look at any team with McCoy at RB and say, "this is the second worst team in all of football." The 2010 Bills were quite simply and absolutely dreadful and they still finished with 4 wins and in 30th place. I don't love this team, but it is worlds better than that team, even if "worlds" is defined as 1 or 2 more wins.
  11. Please repeat this 50 more times so I can punch myself in the face as hard as I can, each time.
  12. I can't believe how much win this thread has provided, compared to the normal offseason garmudge we post.
  13. My friend Bagel from this board just messaged me. Something about "he'll let nothing get him down".
  14. Guys, with all due respect it sort of wrecks the back and forth of the thread when you try to do all of them in one shot. Leave some for the rest of us, otherwise, it's a little too mudge.
  15. Make fun of the guy all you want, but if he makes this team he'll make more money than any of us. I, for one, won't bemudge him one penny of it.
  16. and he sounds great for 92, as well. Amazing.
  17. Yes, but also one of the best ways is seeing what he does.
  18. Very respectfully, GB, and to all of you who list Logan Thomas on the bubble, who is beating him out? Towbridge? Croom? Saxton? I just haven't seen any conversation where anyone of those three beat him out. That said, I actually believe TE has been pretty well set almost since the start of training camp.
  19. My Packers fandom goes all the way back to Lynn Dickey and James Lofton and Bart Starr as the coach!!
  20. Tampa Stadium, around the goal line, opposite side of the stadium, but the same side of the field of the right in "wide right", high up in the stands. I was high up but still had better seats than Bruce Hornsby! I swear to you for a moment I thought the field goal was good and the refs were about to raise their hands straight up. In the parking lot a banner salesman felt bad for me as a Bills fan and gave me a banner for free...man that was only the beginning.
  21. Captain I am still torn about Whaley. Don't get me wrong, I am glad at this stage he is gone. However, he did some good things and then just plain did some boneheaded things. Will he ever get another GM chance in this League? Maybe with the old "I didn't pick the Coach" excuse, which may be a good one. Wow...hmmm...BH, that's actually an even tougher question, my friend.
  22. Individually? No. Over the last few years my respect has grown for Edelman as a receiver. I think either of the might be good for 60-65 grabs this year, but they aren't Edelman, in my opinion.
  23. Probably better than Ducasse, but he was too much money a number of years ago. Hogan was doable on a team whose receivers could have used a little help.
