  1. I honestly thought when we traded up in 2014 it was to get Mack. I honestly did. This would all be so unnecessary. Lesson also learned: potentially stud WRs do not raise mediocre QBs, the way stud QBs raise mediocre WRs. ...learned too late.
  2. Captain...you just plain "get it"...I mean everything.
  3. What in the world do we have that they want?! We already gave away our 2020 7th.
  4. Jeepers-3rd-down-creepers, do none a ya young folks listen to CC?! Have. A Fall. GUY!!!
  5. They can have Coleman for a 2nd rounder. Ya see, gentlemen, knowing how to play the market is part of the fun.
  6. See? SEE?! This is why you don't tell him nice things about him. EDIT: Now get busy finding Atrayu.
  7. How in the freaking fish fry world have not seen or heard about this movie before?!
  8. I would honestly tell Royale on this Board that he is one of my favorite posters, but I don't because he would just get a big head about it.
  9. Someone will HAVE to outperform him, Rocky. Zay wins all ties. That said, though, I highly doubt if they should get down to say Reilly and Zay, they would choose Reilly. It just starts to work itself out that way when you think about and if you're thinking who would be left.
  10. @dneveu Well thought out and great take above, dneveu. It was a pleasure reading.
  11. Supply and demand, SD. There was no market for him for various reasons. If you don't have a pressing need then why give up a pick and let one of your guys go? The Bills...had a very pressing need, and as Sal said, a 7th rounder two years from now is probably the lowest draft pick you could ever give up. If they don't take that from the Bills then they are just cutting him. They are top heavy at WR and want to get a better look at their guys that they think can help them. Additionally, they didn't draft him so they are not really married to him. Further, his remaining money may be part of a guaranty, so having someone else pick it up for free is a bonus.
  12. Shaw, there is video from a tweet from Joe_Burns (?) earlier in this thread and it is rather telling to the extent of 19 throws shown over two games. Needless to say the word “target” is not a fair way to describe what was going on with those throws to Corey. doesn’t excuse everything, but does give some safe harbor on some of his reception history.
  13. Colorado if we end up cutting him before the season (unlikely) we get to rest our hat on further cementing our legacy as the Kings of Dead Cap Money! ?
  14. What does Marv say, Uncle Joe? WHAT DOES MARV SAY, UNCLE JOE?!!!! Once you start thinking about retirement, you are already retired. That's why he got hurt.* * I have no proof that is the reason why he got hurt and it is just pure speculation.
  15. eball, we are starving for potentially good news about a position of critical need for this team. ...and you know we are a very social bunch!
  16. What bugs me about that Common, and I know I am very naive about sports injuries, but hamstring injuries are ones that I just feel should never really happen. Stretch to be as limber as a rubber band and hydrate like crazy. As naive as I am I DO KNOW I am over simplifying it, but still.
  17. Royale, consider yourself lucky, my friend. I have silver on my temples, chest, arms and back...maybe on my butt, too, however it is difficult for me to tell. Fortunately, the top of my head appears to be a basic olive skin toned color, so that's staying young.
  18. Umm, excuse me? That is silver, not gray, and there is a rumor going around that when it is cut it turns to gold and that small starving children gather it up and sell it to Airport Plaza Jewelers so that they may feed their families. It's called the Internet, Royale, maybe you could use it every once in awhile and check your facts.
  19. I just heard this on WGR...and after I got up off of the ground in disbelief I responded in this thread. is there a better definition of "low risk, high reward" than this?
  20. This was such a nice story to add to the end of the playoff drought.
  21. Enjoy your coffee this morning, transplant, because whether you realize it or not you have already won the internet today. I just don't get it, either. How can some of you virtually be aggro over this move, or are you just plan mad at Beane for not trading for Julio Jones? Browns fans can make fun of us in their tweets all they want (yes, can't believe I wrote that, either), but regardless of some of our optimism over some of these young guys we were eerily thin at WR.
  22. Amen to that, Stuvi. Even if it isn't a trade it would be great to add a legitimate OLineman sometime before the start of the season.
  23. Jimmy, no lie. Warmest. Reception. Ever for a visiting team.
  24. I wanted to give this thread a little love. maybe it will catch the other one.
  25. Is this the guy they had talked about trying to get on WgR a couple of months ago? Edit: I love this GM. I want Beane to have my babies, even though I am a guy.
