  1. Didn’t have the measurables, but Purdy is a more seasoned and better passer.
  2. 49ers were down a point at halftime and yet we still get a garbage time fourth quarter. Switch=flipped.
  3. Purdy with a cool 300+ and 3 TDs. 49ers are really impressive.
  4. 49ers don’t put their QBs in a position to have to carry the team. That’s exactly the point. They’re more efficient and consistent than teams that are player dependent.
  5. Only the Chiefs have better play design than the 49ers.
  6. Cole Beasley Tommy Sweeney Greg Van Roten Jordan Phillips Baylon Spector Kaiir Elam Jared Mayden
  7. A sign that the Dolphins are bringing sun and good fortune from Miami? Not good.
  8. Looks rock solid to me. Awesome seeing Milano recognized.
  9. Only if you had unrealistic expectations. The fact there is any chance at all that Hyde could suit up and contribute in some fashion in a hypothetical Super Bowl game is incredible news.
  10. Exactly. Where they started and where they ended up is the point.
  11. So I presume the OP means re-signing Edmunds, extending (not re-signing) Oliver, and/or trading for Adams. Ideally, Edmunds gets tagged and, yes, negotiating with Oliver is prudent. The idea of trading for another big name, vet WR is silly.
  12. Blowouts were the expectation and standard at the beginning of the season. Bills were the consensus Super Bowl juggernaut (according to Eisen, they were coming for your soul). They have a great record, but the dominance vanished. No wire to wire blowouts is concerning in that context.
  13. They need to build around Allen. They need to draft all offense - 3 OL, WR, RB, TE. Period. Use free agency to add a few bargain deals on defense. And franchise tag Edmunds. What’ll actually move the needle for this team is investing around the best player.
  14. I think the point is that in that snapshot of time, Wilson outplayed Allen.
  15. I don’t expect it, but it could happen. This isn’t an auto win. Dolphins are more physical and can control the clock. Waddle/Hill can still run circles around this secondary. Allen is Allen.
  16. A physical run game from Miami, a couple flash plays from Waddle/Hill, and a couple Allen turnovers and this thing is close with all the pressure on the Bills.
  17. Welp, I’m wrong again. Absolutely shocked by this. Ideally, Sunday won’t be Skylar’s emergence as the next Tommy Terrific.
  18. Bills already have too many holes to fill this spring. Franchise tag him - buy another season - and punt the long-term decision to 2024.
  19. It’s not a dumb move by the Cardinals. They have to eat dead cap next season and rebuild with as many draft picks as possible. Murray will miss a month+ so next season, with a new coach, is already a crapshoot. Phoenix media speculating Hopkins will not want to stick around for a rebuild into his 30s and request a trade himself.
  20. Bills can’t afford to trade away draft picks for expensive vets. They have needs across the OL, likely RB (Singletary), possibly LB (Edmunds), S, pass rush, and yes, WR. Hopkins would cost them at least a 2nd + 4th.
  21. After Chicago trades down with Houston or Indianapolis, they can draft Anderson or Carter and then flip a couple picks to Arizona for Hopkins.
  22. It was in relation to his health and long-term prognosis. It wasn’t in relation to some kind of miracle involving playing NFL football just 3-4 months after neck/disk surgery. No, a Gatorade bottle with the Bills logo is cool.
  23. I don’t know what any of this over-analysis actually means. A point to be made is the NFL salary cap is merely a suggestion.
