Maybe set expectations differently? If they said it'll be done Spring 2027, then the perception is OMG they got it done early. But by saying it'll be done for the 2026 season, this makes it look late. Always under promise so you can over deliver. So long as it's open for 2026 season & even if it isn't so long as they've got a place to play, I don't really care. Would be awkward if they tore the old one down then realized the new one wasn't going to be ready in time. 😂

I think it's a rule that government contracts aren't allowed to be completed on time, ever.
