A fart caused by us squishing them. It makes you wonder about Sean Payton's standing with the players. Russell Wilson is everyone's whipping boy but the way Payton has chosen to publicly emasculate him might not have been received well by the team. Also in his short time in Denver Payton has negatively implicated anyone who was on the team last year.

True but you can count on 3 fingers the number of NFL QBs that don't panic under pressure. Yes but it only matters how many people are viewing the game. -
There seems to be something about Mac Jones that makes people of widely-varying backgrounds all hate his guts.

I think Washington has a good defense built upon an elite defensive line. I also believe that Bienemy will make the offense respectable. I also think many people here are underestimating how well the Bills played today. The spread was 6.5 points. The season will prove if Washington is any good.

Najee Harris is extremely underwhelming, especially considering the Steelers drafted him 24th overall. Kenny Pickett reminds me of a less athletic Mac Jones. -
I don't expect Gabriel Davis will be on the team next year and I don't think he'll be too hard to replace either. I like the guy but some other team is gonna pay him more than our number. JMO.

Coming into the game Washington led the NFL in sacks with 10. Today they had zero. I believe the season will show that Washington is a pretty solid football team. This was a good win... business-like and lacking in drama.

Thus Haloti Ngata and Kelly Gregg.

This is NOT starting a new topic during the game. It's an OLD TOPIC.

Two thoughts on this: 1) This was expected. Zero injuries coming off a big win... zero reason to change what's been in place since the season's start. 2) There is widespread belief that Elam will make his debut against the Dolphins next week due to their quick passing offense and the belief that press man coverage will be utilized by the Bills.

IMO, players playing a long time with one team was more a product of the restrictiveness of the CBA than it was loyalty. Players had zero leverage as far as mobility was concerned. There were plenty of players who didn't like the team they were with. At least several of the early games will be competitive. The late afternoon games are awful for sure: Early: Indianapolis Colts at Baltimore Ravens Tennessee Titans at Cleveland Browns Atlanta Falcons at Detroit Lions New Orleans Saints at Green Bay Packers Houston Texans at Jacksonville Jaguars Denver Broncos at Miami Dolphins Los Angeles Chargers at Minnesota Vikings New England Patriots at New York Jets Buffalo Bills at Washington Commanders Late Carolina Panthers at Seattle Seahawks Dallas Cowboys at Arizona Cardinals Chicago Bears at Kansas City Chiefs SNF Pittsburgh Steelers at Las Vegas Raiders MNF Philadelphia Eagles at Tampa Bay Buccaneers Los Angeles Rams at Cincinnati Bengals

I let "it" autosize the cells... I didn't attempt to control their sizes but it proportioned pretty well by itself.

Can James Cook break a tackle, ever?!?!
Sierra Foothills replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
This offense has a lot of new and young parts... 2 new guards, 2 new running backs, 2 new wide receivers, and a new tight end... all of whom excepting the wideouts Harty and Sherfield, figure to get very high snap counts. This is on top of the fact that Cook and Shakir are only entering their second seasons. With the continuing contraction of the preseason and the snap limiting for injury avoidance, it's fair to expect that the offense will gell and improve markedly over the course of the regular season. -
Week 3: Buffalo (-6.5) at Washington

It'll be interesting to see if Harris or Murray has more TDs by season's end. -
I drove by a cool Bills house today

Great stuff... thanks for posting. How are you able to post pics like this? Every time I try to the site tells me that the images are too large. Thanks. -
Exactly. It's a matter of degree.

I'm not trying to be an #######... this is an honest question. Do you think Mahomes or Allen could win a Super Bowl in a season in which their running backs never carry the ball?

As an avid reader of ProFootballTalk (SILENCE!), I ran across this blog post: https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/nick-sirianni-on-qb-push-play-there-is-not-a-rule-against-it-so-thats-what-we-do “Not everyone has [center] Jason Kelce, [guard] Landon Dickerson, [offensive lineman] Cam Jurgens,” Sirianni said. “Not everybody has [tackle] Jordan Mailata. Not everybody has [tackle] Lane Johnson on the other side. Not everybody has that type of quarterback. “We noticed that last year when people were making maybe some big deals about it. There are a lot that are unsuccessful. You guys know who the teams were that were, and I don’t know exactly the teams that were successful and the teams that weren’t successful. “But there is clearly a talent to it that our guys have, because it’s not as -- maybe it’s automatic right now for the Philadelphia Eagles, but it’s not automatic around the NFL . . . You hear it and you’re like, well, I get that some people are complaining about it, but stop it. Stop the play. It’s not as automatic as people think as we’re seeing across the NFL. . . ." The Bills have used a slightly watered-down version of this play, with one pusher instead of two. Obviously Josh is a big, strong, QB and with our upgraded guards this might become more a part of the Bills MO.
