    Just flipped on NFL network as I go to bed and they are showing a replay of the Carolina/Detroit game and noticed Blackshear is working with the 1st stringers…. They must really like him in Carolina

    I looked it up and apparently the rules only apply for regular season games and any number can be worn in the preseason. Sounds like 50 is common for newly added players or rookies to take while they are still undecided.

    I was thinking the same thing. I thought there were rules around jersey number ranges by position groupings.

    Week two of preseason kicks off 7:30 Thursday night Browns vs. Eagles. Neither Watson or Hurts are starting tonight. Was sort of looking forward to Watson looking like a terrible trade for the Browns but I guess that will have to wait.
