  1. Sure. But when Denver was on the field, the defense did their job and then some. The defense also got the ball back to the offense to run more plays and dominate TOP….. complimentary football? …. Just saying
  2. 3. He also wore two different socks. Nitpick much?
  3. Well considering no team in the league is able to completely shut down Lamar or Mahomes, we might as well head to the Bahamas now. A more neutral stance and a “win” in my eyes would be McDs defense doing enough to keep Baltimore and hopefully KC in check, so that the offense doesn’t have to put up 50 points. That is the recipe in my opinion, let our offense win the game. Agreed.
  4. 5.3 yards per play. 2 for 9 on third down. 42 offensive plays. 224 total yards of which 43 yards came on the Franklin TD. Nice try.
  5. Agreed. But I don’t think the D needs to be elite to get to Nola, especially if the offense keeps humming. That’s the strength of this team. Average defense with our offense playing well is the recipe I think.
  6. We win today without him. Because of the ELITE defense.
  7. So he has to have an elite defensive performance against arguably the highest powered offense in the league (Baltimore) and one of the greatest QBs and HC/OCs in NFL history (KC), in order to exercise his demons?
  8. Go look up the wild card games from 2021 and 2023.
  9. Can’t get to the divisional round without winning the wild card. Defense was elite today. Defense has not played well in the past wild card games. Can you accept it?
  10. I mean today was a big game. It was a playoff game. If we lost, the season was over. Many had the Broncos winning today. Payton is an elite offensive mind. Nix came into the game playing as well as any QB in the league and trending. Are you incapable of giving credit to McDs defense? No… no we don’t. Go look at 2021 Colts at Bills wild card and 2023 Dolphins at Bills wild card games for support.
  11. The narrative is his defense is horrific in playoff games. Was today not a playoff game? Can we only criticize McD when his defense plays poorly? Then make excuses and rationalize the weakness of the opponent when his defense plays well?
  12. McDermott’s defense folds in the playoffs. Zero confidence in this defense and the guy running it when it comes to the playoffs. When playoff time rolls around, a constant theme is McD’s bad decisions and bad defense. This is going to be another great season by Josh wasted by McDermotts scheme, lack of guts, and a porous defense. Can’t believe his defense let up 7 points and 2 third down conversions. Can’t win with a guy like that. Fire him.
  13. Those that are critical of their team in the biggest moments aren’t Debbie Downers or an infectious disease as the OP claims.
  14. His sample size disagrees with you. This. Well said.
  15. You could have saved your keyboard and just said you’re a homer.
  16. We don’t know that. It’s a personal issue. His coupons could be expiring at Bojangles in Tuscaloosa.
  17. I didn’t cast anything. I said if he misses the game, it would fit the narrative.
  18. Questionable passion for the game, aloof, traded twice in his prime, Cleveland rumors of quitting on the team, etc. That’s the narrative I’ve read.
  19. If the narrative on Amari is true, it wouldn’t exactly be shocking for him to miss Sundays game.
  20. Yeah? Never said the guy was perfect.
  21. I agree they are simple things. Surprisingly, 99% of the league cannot do any of those 3 things consistently. He deserves credit for instilling these principles as the boss of the football team. He lives by it and we do it.
  22. He brought in Kromer to run his style of football. He deserves some credit for that as the boss, no? Also there is zero chance McD is not involved in personnel decisions. Deserves credit there as well.
