  1. 67% completion, 326 yards, 2 TDs and no picks isn't a good game? In what universe?
  2. Take a guess which team won and which team lost against the same team a week apart.
  3. And Josh has Diggs. Mahomes had fewer weapons than he did last season. The Bills were the team favored to win the SB, not the Chiefs, so trying to pretend the Bills were a garbage team carried by Allen isn't going to fly. And he did have better numbers than Allen. 6 more TDs, 2 fewer INTs, a thousand more yards, 4 points better in completion %, and 10 points in QB rating.
  4. The point is they won, so what's your point? Allen and the Bills got their butts whooped at home by the very same team the Chiefs beat.
  5. OK, so what are you saying? That Allen should've been MVP over Mahomes when Mahomes has better numbers and did it minus one of the best receivers in football?
  6. So you're saying the Bills don't have a great team, GM, and coach? As far as offensive weapons, Mahomes has Kelce. That's about it. They traded away one of the best WRs in football and he still threw for over 5K yards and 40 TDs. We don't have to downplay what the Bills have to somehow make it look like Mahomes is just a product of a good team. The Bills were the team favored to win the SB, not the Chiefs.
  7. Tough to argue he's not looking at his numbers and what he was able to do minus Hill.
  8. The Saints trade for Saffold? LMAO Besides being one of the worst ranked Guards in the league, he's a UFA anyway. Curious as to why you drafted 2 OTs back-to-back instead of getting a true Guard.
  9. Yeah, he's definitely not an effective blitzer. I've seen him get stopped in his tracks by RBs meeting him as he comes through the gap. You would think he'd be a better blitzer, even if not getting the sack, but just getting closer to the QB and getting his arms up considering his height and wingspan.
  10. Would love to have been a fly on the wall in some of the discussions there. Maybe there was some shade thrown at the WR staff for Gabe underperforming and the rest of the WR corps in general outside of Diggs. or Maybe his contract was up as pointed out and he just wanted to go to nicer weather. We'll probably never know.
  11. Several good FA RBs available for waaay less than $14M. If they can't put together a quality O-line, it doesn't matter who the RB is. Spending $14M on a RB with trash blocking in front of him is like putting racing slicks on a Prius and throwing money out the window as you drive down the road.
  12. The latest mock on ESPN+ has us taking Mauch in the first round, which I see as a stretch. I think we can get quality OL in the second, third, and even fourth. I don't think the higher prospect WRs will still be on the board when we pick in the second, so if we want one, they will have to do it in the first. Either that or try to trade out of the first to pick earlier in the second and get an additional pick in the process.
  13. Ah, gotcha. Not sure why I was thinking UFA vs restricted FA.
  14. It's an option, but an expensive one and risky as you said. They would have to find a suitor who wants him first, then the other team would probably try to low ball us on any draft picks included in the deal since they know our cap situation.
  15. As a UFA, I don't think the Bills would get any comp for him, correct?
  16. You've got a very low bar if you consider Ed Oliver good against the run.
  17. I asked because they could do a tag and trade in case that was what you were talking about.
  18. Earlier in the season when Phillips was actually healthy and not playing with 1 arm, I'd take him anyday vs the run over Ed.
  19. What do you mean by trade him? He's a UFA. Are you suggesting we tag him? From reports I've seen tagging will cost almost $21M.
  20. Ed in there against the run is a liability. Plain and simple. I much preferred a healthy Phillips or Settle in there against the run. We need heft in there to stop the run. It would be one thing if Ed could use speed to get off his blocks and make plays, but he doesn't. He just gets pushed around.
  21. Oh, I don't disagree, but if they were going to move on from Edmunds, I still think he'd be an option that wouldn't cost anywhere near what Edmunds would.
  22. Beane can basically get back to even with the cap just by restructuring Josh. If he does same with some other contracts (Diggs, White, Dawkins, Morse & Milano) they can gain +$20M of cap space.
  23. Tranquill had a great year. 7 games with double digit tackles. 95 solo (146 total) 5 sacks, FF, INT, 12.5 stuffs. Okereke has a good year too. 99 solo tackles (151 overall) 2 forced fumbles, 2 recoveries, 12.5 stuffs.
  24. If they re-sign Saffold, it better be to the equipment crew.
  25. Yep, contract restructuring is the name of the game now. As long as there's backloading and outs built in that allow us to move on if his play never reaches what you'd expect from a guy making $20M per, I'm good with it.
