  2. I’m not so certain that the Diggs spot was correct. While the defender did indeed make first made contact with Diggs at the 5 yard line, the ball was no where near Diggs at this time. Because the ball was no where within Diggs reasonable catch radius, the call would have had to be illegal contact if they believe the foul occurred at the 5 yard line. This is where the “not catchable” rule comes into play for PI. For pass interference to be eligible, the defender must hinder the receivers ability to physically catch the pass (section 5, article 1). The defender physically hindered Diggs ability to catch pass in the endzone, and therefore if PI is to be called, the ball should be placed at the 1. There is no spot penalty for illegal contact - it’s only 5 yards and a first down.
  3. This has been happening all year long, across the entire NFL. New York is communicating with the on-field referee crew in live-time to fix obvious mistakes and reduce the need for coaches challenges. This is made possible by a new rule that was approved during the 2021 offseason. This rule allows the replay official to change (in live-time), the spot of the ball, complete/incomplete/int passes, line to gain, etc. The NFL replay official has until 20 seconds on the next plays play-clock to change something. That’s why coaches should *not* throw a challenge flag until there is LESS than 20 seconds on the play clock. Otherwise they could be wasting a challenge. I also have no idea why Diggs PI was placed at the 5 yard line. .
  4. Since i’m not paying for it and therefore money is no option, I want an LA-type stadium. Meaning, it has a roof but both sides of the endzone are open. This blocks rain and some wind (and in Buffalo, snow) but allows for an outdoor feel. It’ll never happen, but that would be my dream.
  5. This feels like a bit of “the grass is greener on the other side”. I say that because Titan fans hate their stadium being downtown. It is a consistent gripe on the Titans message board. Among other things, parking sucks and traffic leaving the stadium is horrendous. You likely didn’t have to deal with it because you’re a tourist and can simply walk back to the hotel. Locals don’t want to walk back to a hotel or a bar after the game. They want to go home. They’re currently trying to pass legislation that will add another 100+ acres to the stadium complex which would include more parking, hotels, etc to make the stadium more viable. Summary: The Titan experience is nice for tourists, bad for locals. And Buffalo isn’t exactly a top tourist attraction.
  6. Does the NFL try to make these TNF matchups as unappealing as possible?

  8. If that was Allen uncomfortable, that’s scary. 74%, 370+ total yards, 3 TD’s.
  9. And one of them was one of the worst INT’s i’ve seen in some time. There was not a receiver anywhere in the vicinity. The Ravens won that game because of a strong defensive performance (4 turnovers) along with running the ball.
  10. I agree. We will not find common ground on this and there is no point in further discussion.
  11. Would you like to further excuse this?
  12. I saw the game. He was not good. This was one of the worst INT’s i’ve seen in some time.
  13. Hoping for DPI is never a good strategy. It’s buying a lotto ticket and hoping it cashes. Allen made poor decisions on that drive. On 1st down, Allen missed an open Sanders that was a 1st down. He also missed an open Sweeney that would have been gotten close to the sticks. And then on 2nd and 17, instead of dumping off to Singletary for an easy 10 yards (setting up a 3rd and 7 or so), he threw it into double coverage and was almost intercepted.
  14. Lamar was objectively bad last Sunday. 167 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT. The Chargers we’re just bad’er. In 3 of his 6 games this year he has equal or more turnovers in the game than he does passing TD’s. The Lamar hype right now is ridiculous.
  15. He has acquired many good players but I think we are still looking for a “dominant” game-changing player on defense from one of his draft picks. I’m also bitter about the Wyatt Teller trade. I would hope that he and those in charge would be able to see a potential all-pro offensive linemen after a year and a half of watching them, and not trade them for peanuts. .
  16. Oh, well that’s just ridiculous and makes no sense. A well executed sneak has the QB going very low and ideally should be on the ground (with the first down or score) in about one second. Perfect sneak: That’s exactly what it was. Allen was supposed to go C gap but Dawkins got beat off the ball so badly that it made it impossible. The blocking scheme was fine. If Dawkins made his block properly, and got off the ball faster than a geriatric AFL player, Allen may have even scored. .
  17. There is not enough time in a sneak for Sweeney to make that block. As it was, Allen was already being hit by the time Sweeney makes the block on the LB.
  18. I am very frustrated with the amount of runs in the redzone this year. Let Allen be the runner in the redzone - not a designed play but scrambling. As Mike Florio mentioned in an article today, when Allen is in shotgun, he has 3 opportunities - Run, Pass, or Catch. With a run play, you have 1 opportunity. Just run.
  19. I mean, I guess so? He’s paid to do that so i’m glad he did.
  20. The Titans Defensive Tackle said on the radio today that Vrabel coached them throughout the week that Allen only sneaks on the left side of the line. I think he mentioned something like 10 of his last 11 sneaks have been to the left. Teams pick up on tendencies like that. The right side of the line got a good push. Had he gone to the right he likely converts.
  21. I don’t understand these signs in general. Theyre constantly making players hold these signs with random messages on them after games Why? Seems like something the marketing department does to fill time and justify their job or something.
  22. I 100% agree. Im not really sure what “gooses” means, but I’m betting i’d agree if I knew what it was lol
  23. Did you just… Did you just say the shout songs time is long past?
