  1. You make several good points, but I can’t help but think about how that Miami defense gave up 22 points to Dallas (and should have been 29 points if not for a goal-line fumble). Our defense, minus Daquan, Milano, Epenesa, Hyde and White, gave up 10. I’m hoping we have Daquan back by the Miami game.
  2. 9 yards per return barely gets him into the top half of the league (14th in the NFL) and only 2/10ths of a yard more than Isaiah McKenzie (who is making $3.5M less on average). I wouldn’t personally call that very good. Perhaps “average”. My issue has always been the contract we gave him.
  3. Yep, embarrassed. We would be only the 2nd team with a winning record to lose to Miami in 15 months.
  4. Understood and agreed. However, we beat them by 20+ points when they were fully healthy. And I just don’t think they are a great team. They are 1-7 against winning teams over the last season and a half. Ill be embarrassed if we lose to them.
  5. If you read my “essay”, you will see that 3-2 is an absolute mirage. More like 0-5.
  6. In my opinion, we are not a closely matched team to Miami. I believe they are frauds.
  7. What history? The history I just debunked in the post above yours?
  8. lol. You missed the context. Those 3 teams that won the rematches were resting their starters in the final regular season game (often division winners), or had their QB injured in the playoffs So let’s look at those 3 teams who lost in Week 17 and then won the Wild Card round.. The 2004 Colts had the division wrapped up and rested their starters (for example, Jim Sorgi played instead of Peyton Manning in Week 17). Therefore, the Colts backups lost to the Broncos in the final week of the season before beating the Broncos with their starters the following week. Context: They weren’t trying to win Week 17. The 2009 Cardinals rested their starters in Week 17 against the Packers. The Cardinals backups lost to the Packers in the final week and then beat them in the Wild Card the following week with their starters. Context: They weren’t trying to win Week 17. The 2012 Vikings beat the Packers with their starters in the final week of the season, and then lost to the Packers the following week in the wild card. Sounds great, until you realize that the Vikings starting QB was hurt late in that final week game, so backup Joe Webb had to start, which is why the Vikings lost the rematch. Webb scored only 10 points, whereas the starter (the previous week) scored 37. Context: They we’re without their starting QB. So, that 3-2 record of teams losing in the final week and winning in the wild card, when you look at the context, goes up in complete smoke. Sorry.
  9. This is where I am at.
  10. $200 is a very good price for authentic jerseys. The bid is starting at $200 for used ones on eBay. https://www.ebay.com/itm/285614018952?hash=item427fec1188:g:mysAAOSwYl5j7RwD&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA8IVgjKO0LH3A5IwLcTp2yzSh5GknkpzSCpIBaSH%2FUvxTy%2FhqO3YstnM3SYwnT5QEVp07KKh5CD3Sf0CjR6qCIBI2JRRQQRRIWu05BibtgGDa8bh3H8A%2BcCmx4QGjNdxbqKdt5GM3lM1%2BsZ3vuS8mI3w0PcJwuhq3D5MjlJzvyDj4reJA45UYMAG72D0xddCrLABvWWyBi%2BIeBWQew%2BjtpaaH7b7XK%2FaPkStbPMRIAeTEjpdlJ%2BfmrdUDPUQWlD8qZdIdgfVEgPPQWqb2ZCklemGUYh0Sx%2BHa3%2BfxzUVisOGHnFjignyNDTOAl7p1LGzuDw%3D%3D|tkp%3ABk9SR-LmhpmUYw
  11. If we can’t beat Miami in Week 18, what makes you think we can beat them the literal following week? We either have the horses or we don’t. Miami 1-7 against teams with a winning record in the past 450 days. If we can’t beat them with the division on the line, we don’t deserve the playoffs.
  12. Can we get a pic of the blanket?
  13. Only if you think we are not beating Miami. Which is a terrible mindset in my opinion.
  14. The playoff birth is the best one.
  15. Post your Bills related Christmas gifts. I received a Josh Allen ornament. Added it to the Bills section of my tree. Also, Josh Allen coffee (which I won’t drink - just add to the Bills collection).
  16. I understand what you are getting at, but that first matchup may decide where the second matchup is played.
  17. Do the math and you will see why I say it’s tough.
  18. If each game had 50% probability, that scenario would result in a 2.3% chance of happening. Definitely possible though. In this scenario the Dolphins have the 2 seed.
  19. 1 seed would be tough. - Chiefs would have to go 3-0 - Ravens would have to go 1-2 - Dolphins would have to go 1-1
  20. Not really. Because Browns would have to win their last 2, Ravens would have to lose 2 of their last 3, and Bills would have to beat the Dolphins in Week 18. Then the Browns would win the AFC and Bills would be #2. Otherwise the Browns are stuck at 5. Oh and the Chiefs would have to lose all 3.
  21. Tell me you didn’t actually read what I wrote without telling me…
  22. Technically yes but highly unlikely. They would have to lose their final 3 and Jags would have to win their final 3.
  23. Yep this is right. Bills win + Pitt loss + Cinci loss = We clinch a playoff spot next Sunday.
  24. You’re misunderstanding me. Nothing to do with who “deserves” to get in. I simply don’t see us going anywhere if we can’t beat a 4-11 NE team or an overrated Miami squad.
