Think through this (for the Division): Miami is 10-4. The absolute WORST they can do, if they lose all 3 remaining games, is 10-7. If the Bills lose another game, the BEST they can do is 10-7. Therefore, if the Bills lose another game, Miami has to lose ALL THREE remaining games, for the Bills to win the division. As for the Wild Card: If the Bills lose another game (to anyone), they would need TWO of these teams (CIN, IND, HOU, JAX), to lose 2 of their next 3 games.

OP, you may want to edit the thread title to update the news that the Bills have designated DaQuan Jones for return from IR -

This is true. But it is also true of Watt. Watt is a hand in the dirt defender and often has to fight through two players (because teams put extra guys on him). He is ont he left here: -

You’re not wrong… But players tend to come back much more slowly from ACL’s than pecs. For example, TJ Watt had 10 tackles, 2 QB hits and an INT in his first two games back from a pec tear last year. Milano had a sack, 5 tackles, 1 TFL, and 3 QB hits in his first two games back after he came back from his pec tear in 2020. Because of the position he plays and the leverage he needs, this may be different for D Jones. But in general, we have seen players hit the ground running after a pec return. -
If they lose to a Chargers team without a QB or Head Coach, or get swept by a New England team with a backup QB and lame duck Head Coach, then we don’t deserve the playoffs. Its honestly that simple in my opinion. A true playoff team, this deep in the season, should crush both of those squads. Bills don’t need the Bengals & Texans to stumble. Why is everyone making this so hard? If ANY of these teams lose 1 of their next 3 games, and Bills win out, we are in: JAX, CIN, HOU. Any of them.

I assume he means that torn pecs typically take 8 to 10 weeks to heal (TJ Watt took 10 week, Milano 8 weeks, etc). And we are at that 8 week mark.

Let me guess: You clock out of work and then stay a half hour longer to give 110% effort. And don’t understand why others don’t come in on their day off.

Seriously. Who hates 15 free yards? Does the OP hate when the officials miss when our DB’s commit pass interference too!?

Jags only need to lose 1 of their next 3 (TB, CAR, TEN). Not 2.

We want the Jags to lose. Not win.

With the Jags losing tonight, the Bills now have the ability to get into a playoff spot as soon as Sunday afternoon. Bills win Jags lose to the Bucs Texans lose to the Browns Then the Bills slide into the 7th seed. .

Yeah and with the league becoming more and more finesse oriented (look at the Dolphin offense), a physical knock-your-cleats-off team becomes even more deadly.

It's already time to start getting ready for the Chargers

This is the only thing that slightly scares me. Charger players are auditioning for their jobs. -
That was my takeaway from this game. The guys came out of that tunnel ready to knock some heads off. I was even fine with the 15 yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalties we took for smacking Dak around because it set the tone for the game. We simply bullied them and they wanted nothing to do with it. Play, after play, after play, we punched them in the mouth. If we take that mentality into every game, there is no-one we can not beat.
